Just made it to Team Skull's base. Hedgewig is lv42, Chuchu is lv41, Tito Makani is lv41, Eureka is lv40, and new recruits Tomoko (Mimikyu) and Acapella (female Brionne) are lv32 and lv30 respectively

I'll keep an eye open for it, though once I can control Pokemon over LV 65 then I may just use my Ultra Beast since it's the Electric one

I've heard that evolving a Poliwhirl into Politoed was glitched. Evolving it causes the person who it was traded to not able to trade it back, as in it's locked out from trading.

So if you want a Politoed, you're stuck with SOS battling for one in the rain in Malie Garden or wait until PokeBank comes out.

Well, after 3 days of grief that caused numerous roadblocks, both in real life and in the games themselves, I finally finished. It was a fun game. Despite a start that made me want to bash my head against a wall, from the middle onward it was pretty solid and enjoyable~

This was also the first game since RBY where my team was constantly evolving. It's actually rather rare, since I tend to plant my feet and, aside from one or two members, my team stays quite consistent from the halfway point onward. Listed in order of relevancy.

I had plenty of other Pokemon on my team, but these were the only ones not intended to be filler for someone else.
So, good on you, Sun. You actually presented me with so, so, so many Pokemon that I wanted to use that I was actually forced to constantly switch and change team members.
Also, fuck you, Sun. Every other area I was forced to train up someone new (Or, in the case of Salandit, catch an entirely new one >>)

That feeling of having to hit the reset button. When your Salandit turns out to be unable to evolve, Formantis being unable to carry their weight, learning that you can't evolve Charjabug for another whole island, making you have to bench it, and you just felt comfortable enough to box away the Trumbeak that you weren't even using anymore...
Man, it sucked to basically have a 2 mon team (Primarina, then Brionne, and Oricorio) :lol

I loved Team Skull, too. They were silly, like Flare, but didn't take themselves seriously (Rather, the game didn't) so they weren't eye-rolling~

@Matrix; which island does Charjabug on if you don't mind sharing?

The 4th Island, Poni Island, in the Vast Poni Canyon.
I think the canyon in specific is walled off until you beat the Kahuna, though.
I could be wrong, however, since despite the Canyon being effing huge, the map doesn't mark it as it's own individual area, so you may be able to evolve it prior to the Kahuna fight and I was just dumb.

First time ever really I can think I'm maintaining a rotating roster. Always locked in my teams pretty early on and if I chose to get something new it was a total replacement. Finding it fun though to be training so many.

It's kind of a thrilling experience to have a rotating team. It was actually pretty fun~

Though I did feel bad that some Pokemon who helped me power through some sections (Golisopod) and some who were just really helpful utility (Shiinotic and her Spore) didn't end up on the final team when I finished :lol
Then again, Gatack/Vikavolt (Then a Charjabug) did put in work during the first 2 1/2 islands before getting benched for Golisopod, so I guess it's justified? I dunno :lol
Lycanroc and Solgaleo were the latest additions to my team. Lycan because I desperately needed a rock type attack, and Solgaleo because it made me care~

It's funny, this is the first time I'm not using a rotating team. I swapped out team members constantly on LG, had like 16 on Platinum, 9 in White, 11 or so in Y....but I'm going through most of Sun with just my five guys. It's a new experience for me, but it's pretty fun. Definitely goes by faster...

Though I've been getting sidetracked with my stupid little completionist bullshit, which has prevented me from making too much progress recently. I'm only on Ula'Ula Meadow. I'm gonna need eighteen Silvallies eventually, so I've been trading for Type: Nulls on the GTS. Currently have 8 of them. It's easier than expected but is still time consuming.

Hopefully I can put that crap on hold and just work on finishing the game if not today this weekend.

Does the box sprite for Silvally change based on its type? If so, crap, I'm going to want that many too. If not, eh, I can pass. :lol

It doesn't. That's one of the ways in which it is similar to Arceus, I suppose.

Yeah, those Dittos are annoying. SOS mechanics make catching stuff, especially those with low catch rates, a royal pain. I'm still recovering from catching Mimikyu...

Yeah. I was totally expecting the core to be a battle-only form and to have them be in Meteor form most of the time, which would have made collecting them pointless. I'm really glad it's the meteor form that's battle-only.

Bit annoying that they have self-destruct, but they're satisfying to collect.

It's sad that Minior is one of the few with Power Gem that can actually use it.

Even though a majority of the Pokemon that learn it are Special Attackers? Heck they finally gave it to Lunatone in SM and to Diancie along with a buff to Diamond Storm.
