First day of Ralts shiny hunting ended unsuccessfully, but i press on! I WILL have a shiny ralts.

Don't worry. My attempt at getting a shiny Vulpix ended in failure and 41 Vulpix in the box :p
Then again, I decided to start training up new and fun Pokemon to use rather than keep breeding :lol

Talonflame, Lapras, Doublade, Charizard, Pidgeot.

Would that team be able to beat the Elite Four and Regional Champion?

For some reason, every 3 generations, Pokemon resets its professors to being old and then they get younger each progressive generation. (I.E. Oak and Rowan are super old dudes but Birch and Sycamore are young guys with Elm and Juniper somewhere inbetween)

Please. Just add one electric type and you'd sweep the entire game in about a half hour :p

I traded away one of my Ralts on the Gts and got another purple vivillon, i was gonna trade this one away but then i noticed that it had a little something... POKERUS baby!

I plan on jumping into Gen 5 once I'm done with Pokemon Y. Is that a good idea? I skipped that one because I'm a cheap mother fucker and I had other games to play. Now that Pokemon games are the only games that I can play without making me rage and throw my PS3 controller and messing up the R2 button, I wanna try it out. I've got a few Pokemon from Gen 5 I wanted to use in Y but I want to try so many more Pokemon out.

Gen 5 isn't bad. It's rather enjoyable with some really creative and fun Pokemon around. And if you go Black/White (And not their sequel), you'll only have Gen 5 Pokemon to use, with no past Pokemon appearing until the National Dex is unlocked. Some see it as a problem, others as a godsend, depending on how tightly you wear your nostalgia glasses :lol

Unlike every other Gen, Gen 5 is two separate games instead of one. Black and White 2 are, as their titles suggest, proper sequels to Black and White instead of remakes.

Gen 5 was a good gen, with some really nice Pokemon and a great story with some interesting themes. Good aesthetics, good music, etc. Of course, many aspects are outdated compared to Gen 6, but that's the same for every other instance of playing an older gen. If you can live with that, it's a good experience.

I can't wait till Back comes out so i can replay gen 5.
