Emptying my office of it's contents hasn't really left me much time for my hobby (sadly looks over at unopened school uniform madoka figures) but a new toy can always be an exception :thumb:
As can be expected, it is a solid release that doesn't fail to deliver on an interesting enough design. I know next to nothing of the series that the character hails from, but the allure of a sci-fi influenced, polearm wielding samurai influence was enough to draw me in. True to figma's strength, the character appears as she does from her anime appearance. The disproportionate design is odd at first, but one quickly adjust to it once the figure transitions into dynamic poses. A smattering of optional hands and faces are also included per standard. She includes two versions of the polearm, one standard length and one with variable lengths. The tip can be removed to allow the placement of an effect part. The figure also included a sword and scabbard, helping fuel my growing collection of blade wielding beauties. I ultimately found the figure satisfying, maybe I'll get to opening those Madoka figures soon..... http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1f9b3ec6.jpg |
Just waiting it out for The Mighty Thor...and the rest of the Avengers....

Well, I don't know where else to ask since we don't have a thread for it, so here goes:
Just how bad is the QC for the Dragon Knight Figmas? I really want a regular version of Siren and Knight/Wing Knight and I'm not entirely sure I can fork out the 100+ for the SHF release of Knight. Are we talking McFarlane-level shite, "test your luck", or "not terrible but not great"- level bad? |

I have quite a few of them, and the qc on them is what you expect when it comes to figmas. The paint work is clean and the construction holds together well. The only thing you have to keep in mind is the soft plastic used for the crotch detail. It is pliable and soft enough to accomodate posing, but prolonged stays in a given position can cause it to retain the bend. It unbends in relatively little time, but that might be a concern. I have no regrets owning any of the Dragon Knight figmas, especially Wing Knight. The cape on the figure is handled especially well, better than the solid cape of the figuarts. |

How do they scale compared to Figuarts? Taller, shorter, same size? |

S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryuki VS Figma Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Not sure how much it helps. |

So I just learned about the Attack on Titan Figmas. Are they being released in the US by someone?

Mikasa is apparently getting a third rerelease, though. Eren just released last month so shouldn't be hard to come by. Armin will be the problem as he was a WonFest exclusive... And Levi's not out yet, so preorders are still open. |
It is nice that they've responded to the demand in what could be considered a timely fashion. Ive been eyeing them, and the steady influx of supply is making it easy to pull the trigger.
