Well, apparently Tabitha St. Germain didn't know Derpy was a mare, so she tried to emulate the voice of, I think one of her neighbor's sons or something.

And it's a shame, Tabitha can do a very convincing male voice (Kevin from Ed, Edd, n Eddy) but Derpy's original voice sounded a tad too androgynous IMO.

Not to mention backlash for claims of being ableist. And Hasbro had just finished putting out the last ember from the "Power Core Combiners Spastic/Overrun" fiasco.

EDIT: whoops. I have just realized that Kevin is ACTUALLY voided by Kathleen Barr, not Tabitha St. Germain. Tabitha DID, however, voice Nazz.

Wait... Shana? The first Shana is in this?

Alright, just finished episode 17 so I think it's time for a quick update. One, Suited for Success was a great episode for both Rarity and the series. Also, have I mentioned Art of the Dress? Didn't care much for it at first, but it grew on me really fast. As a designer myself I really do connect with her on that level. (happy now Matrix?) Also, this is just a personal opinion but I find the CMCs to be a little annoying from time to time... I am not kidding.

First of all, Huzzah! Rarity wins everyone over, sooner or later :lol
But I am glad you liked Suited for Success. I really love that episode and it did a lot to win Rarity over for me.

Anyway, the CMC do get a little annoying, I can't defend them, but I honestly like them. Whether they get better or worse over the course of the series really boils down to whether or not you can tolerate them or if their every action gets on your nerves.

Art of the Dress is awesome, and you like Twilight that much eh? Nice. She's fluctuating between second through fourth for favorite pony for me.

I'm gonna withhold asking for a favorite episode until you finish Season 1.

Wow, I was kind of expecting a big rage rant over my opinion of the CMCs. :lol Anyway, yeah Twilight is hands down my favorite so in order to give the others a fair shot I simply removed her from the running.

As for a favorite episode... Yeah I've still got nine episodes to go so I'll decide sometime after that. Also, this show needs to be like, 20% cooler. :p
