Kind of surprising that the Shocker is still the same guy from creation. Venoms and Goblins and Spider-Men change, but the Shocker stays the same, it seems.

Shocker was never the big villian that they were either.

I see Shocker as more of a middle-class villain—he's not as famous as villains like Doctor Octopus, but he has a lot more street-cred than villains like Hypno-Hustler. :lol

This was my favrioute episode as a kid, as an adult, the jokes became a lot funnier and you start noticing a lot of the Toku, Anime, and even Western animation references that this episode is crammed with. it's a great episode and aged surprisingly well.

Deathstroke is getting a little overused, I agree, but Bats is just a character I'm getting sick of, especially when he's portrayed like he's super jesus, like in JL: Doom and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.

I wouldn't mind another Green Lantern animated film. Maybe use "Blackest Night" as the inspiration?

Now that DC is on their whole New 52 movie trip Blackest Night is pretty unlikely to happen. I guess the only thing we could expect would be the whole first lantern stuff.

I'd love to have a film around characters like the Question, the Phantom Stranger, or, hell, Static (I'm not sure if any of these characters even exist in the New 52 :lol)

They do and at the same time they dont. Question and Stranger are not really what they were before the reboot. Stranger is the one that comes closest to what he was before. Even if he is not really the Phtantom Stranger anymore since we now know his origin.

Doesn't mean I'm not tired of the character.

Yup Doom was adapted from the Tower of Babel storyline in the JLA comics. It was completely changed for the movie though.

Well, Blackest Night is still canon in the New 52. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: adapting comic storylines still canon within the mainstream DC Universe into movies that have been adjusted to mesh with the New 52 is something that should happen.

Watched that new Powerpuff Girls special last night, and was pleasantly surprised by it. The art style took a bit of getting used to, but I thought in the end it fit the show quite well and it was great hearing all the original voices again. I'd be down for more like that in the future if it ever happened.

My only complaints were the writing was bit iffy, which made it more obvious Craig McCracken didn't have a part in it. AND BUBBLES HAD ICE BREATH WTF? /nerdrage

I had much of the same feelings you did. While it was nice to have a PPG special CN under Synder isn't the same as when it was in its heyday.

I'm also curious as to what Craig thinks of this; since they did use his "Whoopass Girls" without him.

I've been watching Batman Beyond lately. I have no idea how this show was able to bypass the censors so often, and I don't care—it's glorious.

Been watching a bit more of Hulk and the Agents of SMASH on TV when it comes on.

I think I'm enjoying it a bit more then some of marvel's recent offerings.

I just got done watching the episode with Ego the living planet and I can't help but think where the hell are the Avengers during all this? Surely they must've noticed the planet with the dude's face that was now in high orbit.

The reality TV aspects works better sometimes but falls flat on others…it does detract from the tension much like the family guy style cut away gags in Ultimate but…eh? It's not as insulting as Ultimate at least ad definitely more enjoyable then Avengers ASSemble.

Watched Justice League War last night and man, the sass was strong in this film :lol so many hilarious put downs and comebacks.

REALLY could have done without Shazam though. He didn't add anything to film at all and I'd much rather have seen it with Aquaman.

I still haven't gotten used to the fact that Captain Marvel is now actually Shazam.

Yeah, there's that too. I'll never get used to that name.
