Finished episode 28 of W. I loved the two parter, it showed how Terui's rage over his family's death could harm other people. It was really well written and had Phillip stand up and be a man.
Can someone confirm this but is Lily's actor, the magician in the episodes, also play the police woman that hangs out with Haruto in Wizard? |

Just finished episode 46 of OOO. Should I watch the separate 47 and 48 or just skip to the Director's Cut?

Watching Kiva, up to the part where he makes friends with the rock'n'roller. Can someone tell what song they're playing? I know I've heard that tune before in another show but I can't remember which.

Anyway, I finished the series. Thought I might dislike the finale because it was so cgi-heavy(thought that might take away from the interpersonal stories) but it was quite effectively done. I liked the finale build-up episodes more, the fates of the Greeeds were quite moving, as was Ankh's betrayal. Lots of very good character work. I'm disappointed it's over! I really like the interplay between Eiji and Ankh. The supporting cast were all really interesting by the end as well. I'm still working my way through Fourze. I liked it a lot during the first ten episodes but strangely, even though he's awesome, ever since Meteor was introduced the show has been a bit of a slog for me. I want to move on to W but I feel obligated to finish Fourze first(I started and finished OOO in the time I've spend between episodes 14 and 24 of Fourze). Also have all the OOO movies left to watch except Mega Max. |
On ep 7 of Hibiki. It's good but there's just something about it that doesn't make me wanna keep watching for more.

I'm on episode 24 of Agito. G3-X looks badass. Can't wait until Shouichi, Hikawa and Ryo find out about each other.
And Hojo is still a dick. |
Just finished Movie War 2010. I skipped the Decade portion since I haven't seen Decade.
What I liked: Kamen Rider Skull, this guy is badass both in human and rider form. No wonder Shotaro took inspiration to him after he died. Sexy black compound eyes and smooth fighting moves. The Plot of the Double portion. It was pretty decent and was very self relent on its universe on how they brought skull back( At least until the end). It really played to every important character's emotions and drove the plot along pretty well. It even had minor doses of Akiko, less of the most annoying character. What I disliked: How Double and Decade found each other. Seriously, that was stupid. Double was chasing after his monster and he coincidentally ran into Decade. Decade splitting Double in half for 10 seconds. This seriously pissed me off. How did decade have a card for this specific Rider who's world we presume we have never encountered before this movie? I know they make a little nod to the cameo about the cameo in the other movie about how Decade and Double know each other but still. It was also completely pointless to create 2 new rider forms just to make a three rider kick. Alternate Skull. Now I know that the potential of having characters that become alternate experienced heroes is cool and all but this one made no sense. He just shows up as a card, does nothing important to Shotaro and Phillip and just vanishes into the sea of worlds. Skull getting half assed equipment. He doesn't get a unique belt or gun, just a Double driver with one half ripped off and a repainted Trigger magnum. What would have been cool if his belt was a crystal skull, he sticked the memory on top ala Accel and when he put it in the lights would flash through the eyes. |
Pro tip: never expect logic from a movie featuring Decade.
|
Or even a movie where Decade just appears as a cameo.
|
Or anything with Decade in it period.

I'm at episode 27 of Agito. Man Ryo really gets beat up in this series. I think he should stop looking for people from the Akatsuki-gou. And Ozawa can down beers like a beast.

Just finished X. Of the four Showa series I've seen all the way through - V3, X, Amazon, and Black - it's probably my second favorite. Keisuke is awesome, Tachibana is still great, the supporting girls (Chiko and Mako) are actually really fun, there are great enemies, and the action is top notch. One of the parts that was really cool was that the last ten or so episodes are part of an ongoing storyline about X and GOD competing to find components of the blueprint for a doomsday weapon. It lacks Apollo Geist, but it's still a good storyline and it sees several episodes with V3 and a couple with Rider 2.
The HK subs weren't great, but they worked well enough to be able to follow what was going on. I definitely want to see this get a proper sub someday, though. It really doesn't deserve to be as overlooked as it is. |
I'm on episode 21 of Kabuto. I'm digging the series. It's really well done and I actually really like Tendou. My wife hates Kamishiro, lol. Then again, she loves Tendou and anyone who tries to out-Tendou Tendou should die in her opinion.
I also watched Super Hero Taisen. It wasn't as bad as I had been led to believe. A lot of people mention that it has characters acting out of character but I didn't notice this. Maybe they are talking about DiEnd? I haven't watched much of Decade so I wouldn't know. The action was good and it was overall a pretty decent film. |
Still chugging away with Fourze. With all the family stuff and fanfic writing I do, I barly have any time to watch it. I'm on the last four episodes and once that's done, I'm going to finish Fate/Stay Night and figure out what KR to watch next.

I'd also agree that Taisen isn't nearly as bad as people say it is. I just think people have been spoiled by movies like Megamax with a more cohesive plot. I'll admit that Taisen isn't the perfect film, but it's pretty damn fun. |

So I decided to watch the episode of Kamen Rider X with Starfish Hitler, and it was amazing. All that was available were Hong Kong subs, but it made the experience even better. I just love all the silly stuff the Showa Era could do, like how if a secret panel opens up to reveal guns shooting at you all you have to do is push the panel back up and they retract and stop :lol

And then they totally got tortured and killed. Good job, heroes. :thumb: |
I recently watched God Speed Love and King of Hell's Castle to finally bring my Kabuto and Kiva viewings to a close after all these years.
GSL was neat. It was a bit odd to see Yaguruma as TheBee again, but it made sense for the movie. I really call BS on how Drake died. Normal bullets shouldn't be able to penetrate Rider armor like that. Ketaros should probably go down as the worst death in Kamen Rider history. Going through reentry to fall all the way the ground. And as if the fatal fall wasn't bad enough, he hit some gas tanks causing a huge explosion. After seeing Caucasus in battle finally, I think he really got ripped off in the Battle Tournament. I'm not saying Hyper Clock Up is instant win, but the only time he isn't using it is when he not smacking your ass into the ground. Finally, I liked that the fact this movie is kinda canon due the Hyper Zector shenanigans at the end. I rather enjoyed King of Hell's Castle. I thought the voice actor cameos of the Imagin was cool, because you finally get to see the men behind the mic. The Legendorga reminded me of what drew me to this series as Castlevania fan, the use of the classic monster designs. The family interactions were my favorite part. Seeing Wataru with Otoya and Megumi with Yuri was enjoyable, even if this movie isn't canon. The double IXA henshin was great. Reminded me of the Rook takedown across time in the series. The movie Rider designs were neat, but a bit too underused for my liking. Though Arc did make for a nice baddy at the end that was more than just a Rider. Also "Go to Hell!" and "Defense! Defense! Defense!" were random bits of humor I enjoyed. Now, I just need to watch Final Countdown and I will have finally seen all of the Rider movies for the shows I've watched. |
God Speed Love would be my favorite rider film if not for Final Countdown. Which is itself very awesome. Hells castle on the other hand...... i hated :lol
|
God Speed Love is awesome. Caucasus is a massively underestimated character.
|
Loving Wizard, and still powering through W... Also just started Decade for um, research purposes? Yeah let's just go with that.

God Speed Love and the Kiva movie are the only Heisei Rider movies I haven't seen yet. I'll get around to GSL someday. The Kiva movie ain't happening. Ever.
