Tha'ts not always the case since Wizard broke that cycle, with Gaim only appearing in the 2 part finale of Wizard instead of the summer movie.

i actually think theydid that because magic land was a temporary AU form wizards universe with every person on the planet was a mage/wizard
and even if it was just for a minute gaim would have looked completely out of place while if finale of wizard fit better for his first apearence because the riders all needed a way to turn the tide against amadam and gaim fits better in that scenerio then anywhere in the wizard movie

Gaim's movie is also an Alt-U film. It could go either way, really. Maybe having the new Rider appear later worked better for the production staff and it's something that will continue into the future.

Cameo appearance doesn't have to make sense. Look at Toqger from the Go Busters vs Kyroyuger movie, they just suddenly popped in. Or Foruze just dropping in from space and saying hello to OOO's.

The battle also outs Micchy to Mai, and allows Kouta to take his Melon Energy Lock Seed. Without the Genesis Driver, he proves to be no challenge at all to Kouta, and in his grief and madness, devours a Helheim Fruit.

Wait, what about his Sengoku Driver and Budou lock? Not saying I don't see that scenario happening, but like Baron he still has some manner of a contingency.

Budou against Kiwami? Come on, the Genesis Drivers increase the power input compared to the "Prototype/First Gen" Sengoku Drivers, so I don't see a future bottle of wine faring well against FRUIT BASKET!

Yeah. We've known about it for months. Energy Rider Shin Kurokage is Pico from Team baron. He's going to get his Lock Seed & Driver in the Gaim summer film. Gaim even used Shin Kurokage's spear the second episode after he received Kiwami Arms as a little nod to the film.

Now the sounds are new, clearly taken from the film itself.
