And the Megazord is a real somehow?

It's more like, the Megazord is limited by being a live-action suit, meaning there are limits to what it can do on-screen, while Voltron is an anime and is thus only limited by what the artists can draw.

I didn't say the Megazord was a real robot.
I'm just saying that Voltron is your standard super robot. Super sonic flight, super strength, magic projectiles that come out of nowhere, some seemingly random abilities and all that jazz. It's everything Gurren Lagann mocked (Except not literally because GoLion wasn't that big in Japan)

The Megazord is really limited, but it's also rather underpowered, even when taking into account what the costume can do.
Super strength, the lightning crest attack, the Mammoth Shield's energy beams and frost attack, and the God Horn sword.
(Yeah, it has the cannons on it's back, but I don't think they were ever used, and it's not really designed to fire them at anything other than targets directly above it)
Like, even when taking the live action limitations into account, the Megazord doesn't have all that much going for it. In comparison to an actual super robot, it does feel a little like a real robot :lol

I know absolutely nothing about Voltron, save for what was shared in the video, but it seems like Ultraman vs. Voltron would be a much more even match. Ultraman can fly, fire beams, move at super speed, the list goes on and on. And that's just taking into account abilities shared pretty much by all Ultraman. Even the 3 minute time limit shared by most Ultras is negated by fighting in space, which seems to be Voltron specialty.

What I meant more was, if their mediums were reversed, so too would the results, because the Megazord wouldn't be so limited in how much power it could have, while Voltron would suddenly not be able to do half of the crazy shit.

Also... Gurren Lagann mocked Super Robot tropes? ...Were we watching the same show, because last I checked it whole-heartedly embraced them and took them to '11 in just about every way imaginable.

If their mediums were reversed, most definitely. I don't think we've had very many mecha that fly on a regular basis until Galaxy Mega.
But I'm just saying that they could've ramped up the firepower on Daizyujin if they wanted, but outside of the Tanker mode, he's kind of a basic brawler.
Like, Jet Icarus literally pulled weapons out of nowhere just to beef up it's arsenal, for example.

Although, again, "jokingly?" I'm... trying to understand what you think the show is, because it's CLEARLY very different than my understanding. Like, these are just straight references, the only joke I see is the kind of irreverent style of the show itself... I mean, the only joke I can think of involved in a reference is the first time they combine. Everything else, like the Inazuma Kick or Chou Ginga doing the Gunbuster pose, which is already a reference to Getter Robo G...

I really shouldn't take this down this track of insane mecha fan rambling. Like, I'm seriously crazy about this shit and still have crazy moments whenever I discover a series I didn't know about before. Speaking of which, I'm off to read up on Brain Powered and Layzner.

Well, the strongest mecha are usually brick mechas that specialize in raw fire power like a tank in sentai. Slimmer mecha suits and toys like the ones from Gekiranger and Hurrucanger possess better articulations and mobility are only used briefly for their speed. In one way to look at it, they're upholding their traditions, but on the other hand it's getting old. If you're talking about Voltron then Gundams and Autobots are on the same tier in terms of power and movement.

The new PR megazord is on the same tier too, however the toy version sucks in comparison to the playability of the Voltron toy that's also slightly cheaper.

Toei Megazord will decimate Toei Voltron. Dreamworks Voltron will decimate Lionsgate Megazord.

Really, arguing the specifications is pointless. They just decided who would win, neither Voltron or the Megazord follow a strict set of rules within their universe. If they need to win, they win, and if they need to lose, they lose. Arguing who would win an why is just silly because there is no answer because it's all made up.

I've been re-watching Linkara's HoPR, and I recall hearing how the Twitch Stream viewers were hating on Rocky.

What exactly did Rocky do to get that hate? Do any of you know?

Season 2 of MMPR isn't something I spent a lot of time on, so I don't really have any particular feelings about it.

He was awesome. And honestly, he didn't really wimp out, he suffered a back injury in the movie. But as a side character, he kind of vanished. I mean Billy had an exit, Rocky just kind of....ceased to exist.

People hated Rocky? Didn't know that.

What if Dreamworks make a PR season ?

Well, they did Voltron: Legendary Defender, so I think it would be a pretty good show if they got to handle Power Rangers.

Forever Blue is greenlit. With Billy/MMPR Blue Ranger as leader after his rehabilitation from Aquitar and Preston/Blue Ninja Steel Ranger as the featured rookie. Pick your additional 9 blue rangers out of all the seasons up to Ninja Steel and state why they are worthy.

1. Rocky aka Zeo Ranger III Blue: As much as I got no complaints on Justin succeeding him, Rocky did not deserve to go out like the way he did. This will be the special that redeems him.

2. Justin aka Blue Turbo Ranger: Being the sole ranger of his crew I would like to see a grown-up Justin handle things and have the kid veteran thing going on sharing his old war stories as a child prodigy in the 90s who happened to cosplay as a car and beat up bad guys.

3. Flynn aka Blue RPM Ranger or Ranger Blue: HE'S SCOTTISH! Moving on.

4. Dax aka Blue Overdrive Ranger: You gotta have the parkour/stuntman dude. And I wanna see him do even more crazy stuff with his mega buster leaf blower thingy.

5. Noah aka Megaforce/Super Megaforce Blue Ranger: That Super Megaforce power can come in handy, plus, I think it will be interesting to see him and Billy talk nerd.

A): Why did the Season 1 Putties look so different from the Golem of Zyuranger?

B): How did they accomplish the incoherent babbling of the Season 1 and 2 Putties?

C): Why were the Putties retired so quickly and replaced with Tenga Warriors? Why not use both? We didn't see a Z-Putty again until the beginning and end of In Space!

A sumo wrestling themed Sentai/PR season with slightly chubbier suit actors than they usually use for rangers.
