That's so cool, I love it!
|
Kamen Rider G1-R fits right in with the others!
|
Thanks all!
|
Right, so this is our So-Do backlog:
Zero-One - KR Lucifer - Ark-Scorpion - KR Zaia - KR MJ.Net Saber - KR Falchion - Saber Emotional Dragon - Saber Dragon Arthur - Saber Primitive Dragon (with alternate shoulders and chest) - Saikou Shadow - Saikou X-Swordsman Feel free to correct me on anything I've missed. |
Decade Complete 21 and Zi-O DecadeArmor Saber form are pretty likely to get figures too

I forgot about that... they haven't really done a stage show form before, but it is a recolour, and they seem more dedicated every year to covering as much ridiculous stuff as possible.

Just letting people know, Gaim 3 and Saber Book 8 are up for preorder on Amiami. They must have been put up pretty recently, I just checked a few days ago
|
We got Cyclone (novel form), OOO Saramiuo and Zero-One Shooting Wolf (concept art forms), don't see why we can't get Ark Zero One. Granted those were distributed by lottery, Premium Bandai and I don't know, respectively
|
01 Shooting Wolf was via the Super Complete Works box for the show; the same way Prime Rogue and Geiz BiBiBi were distributed. Big huge boxset of the show plus extras, of which the special So-Do figures was one of. They done Shooting Wolf because unlike Build and Zi-O there was no extra HBV with a new form in that set to make a form of, so they took advantage of the situation to do something wild.
But, yeah, that's all through special means. Sarameiou in particular is a special anniversary thing for OOO, and Cyclone is kinda-sorta popular with it being a counterpart to Joker, and just being a W form in general. Ark-Zero-One is difficult to see happening under similar circumstances, but... we'll see! You never know |
Are you guys, like, prophets or something?!
https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0129190314.jpg Stageshow exclusive form!! Hell yeah!!!! Like it's literally just Red Ark-One, but... this is still pretty big. First time SO-DO's ever done this! Woz Armour next, please? Either way, they're not stopping there -- they revealed EVERY remaining figure in Book 5 tonight. So, without further ado -- Ark-Scorpion and Diago Speedy!! That clears up every show suit from Zero-One and leaves only the V-cin stuff. Notable here is that Ark-Scorpion has an Attache Arrow, and Diago Speedy has NO stickers! Fully painted right out the box like it's a SHODO or something. And... yeah, no .5 wave. I'm guessing King Arthur isn't happening aside from the Saber arm. https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0129190206.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0129190615.jpg As always, SO-DO finds a way to make their waves look CRAZY. This retail Saber wave has the bike, the footsoldier, a last-minute Zero-One form, a stageshow-exclusive Zero-One form, and Decade Complete. This line is awesome https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0131090135.png |
It's funny how the bike is only partially painted. Those gold suspension parts are painted such that only the front is covered, but its the "front" being the side of the bike, and not the "nose". Very clever Bandai!
|
I still feel like maybe we'll get a .5 set that comes with the form and mech, maybe the gatrike phone as well.
|
Right, we've still got two books worth of backlog characters and forms, although if the next few months are less form-heavy then they should catch up by Book8 in May.
|
SO-DO really does just throw darts at a board to decide what they're making, don't they? What a toyline.

Their release schedule of 4-5 a month, no matter how many forms TV has given them to do, certainly helps!
|
The thing is, too, is that Saber ironically has less ground to cover than previous shows.
That seems bizarre to say given how the first half of the show has been, but the way the early forms were set up means they don't need to dedicate a figure to every single one (like Zi-O's armours or Punching Kong etc), instead having a mix-and-match system be enough. So that way later in the line they have room to cover a LOT of wild stuff |

Yeah, something the blog notes is that Decade Complete and Ark-Zero-One were popular requests. I can see why — Complete finishes off all the main in-series suits from Decade, while Ark-Zero-One is a rider form for a character who otherwise doesn’t have one (Azu). It’s awesome to see out-there popular requests line this get fulfilled!

Second of my new Riders is finished (First being G1-R)! I'm currently calling him Kamen Rider T or T Rider for short (like X Rider and Super Rider). T for Turtle, of course.
https://i.imgur.com/NjvB26s.png (Side note, I've wanted to have Ultra Donatello Cast Off like this for years) Lore for T Rider is a bit stranger than G1-R. In my comic universe TMNT exists alongside everything else I want. At some point Donatello jointed a group of Kamen Riders. I think Donnie is the kind of character that would make his own Rider suit after being around them for a while. https://i.imgur.com/LB7gL3T.jpg The figure is a SO-DO Kamen Rider Buster from Saber. Buster is a wide build Rider with a major turtle motif, so this becoming a Ninja Turtle works amazingly. As for why Donnie, he's my fav and the spear (From Arms Action Kurokage) being able to equip to the back was just to good. https://i.imgur.com/sAyk1Eq.jpg And just for fun, I got out all my old 4"-ish TMNT customs from years and years ago (They are really dusty). https://i.imgur.com/cmRLZvT.jpg |
Nice!

At work so I don't have time to make a full post, but there's a couple of P-Bandai Gaim sets revealed today!

SO-DO Updates! Two new Gaim boxsets! Split up in a very weird fashion - you want more Riders! Gotta buy the extra Arms!
Set 1: https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204131305.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204131438.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204132414.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204132500.jpg It comes with 4 complete Riders, including Gaim bodies, and has stickers for the mass-production Kurokages, and a Genesis Driver and Shin Kagematsu (I think) for Shin Kurokage! https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204191708.jpg And Set 2! https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204193729.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204193931.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204195750.jpg https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/image...0204195941.jpg And of cours, you can recreate Gaim's Movie Arms Changes! 6380 Yen for each set, pre-orders start tomorrow! And new information for SO-DO Chronicle coming both next week and the week after! |
Also, google translate gives me the delightful image of noted second-tier duelist Joey Wheeler being a Gaim Rider, enjoy.

I will forever name a Kurokage trooper Joey Wheeler now. He's from Brooklyn and won't stop talking about some guy named Yug.

They're doing the extra arms as full figures, huh? Even less of a chance for the billion other Gaim suits out there.
|
Anyways, my poor, poor, wallet. I can manage one for sure, but both is going to hurt.
|
I need that Pineapple Arms.
|
Well I guess I know what I’m buying when I next get my unemployment.

I believe that Suika and machines aside, this is everything from the show itself covered, right? The one thing that comes to mind is Jam, and that's still a weird movie tie-in thing.

What do P Bandai So-Do figures go for on the aftermarket? Some of these are looking really tempting

As for what it is... Considering OOO Saramiuo is still being advertised, I don't even wanna play the gambling game. Could be anything. Aqua and Poseidon to finish off OOO, the Den-O movie crew, IMAGIN, somthing to add to their W anniversary celebration, Rising Ultimate Kuuga to go with the Decade releases in the mainline and finish off that line... no certainties with this line!
