I don't know what BBTS is doing but Tamashii isn’t re-releasing Kachidoki, so no Japanese retailer will carry this.

Maybe they acquired some stock in some way, but this is no proper re-release.

Late response, but this happened to me a few months ago on a Mandarake order. It was a store I had ordered from since I had moved, the address on my Paypal was correct, but for some reason it got shipped to the old address. While the residents were out of town. It only took a couple extra days to get to me, so all was well, but still, annoying.

I don't know where BBTS is getting this stock they have on preorder, but it's not from an official re-release that's been announced. The only Gaim Rider that's been officially re-released is Orange Arms back in June.

RIP.

Hopefully in time it'll go down in price elsewhere.

Not to brag it I brought 3 kachidoki figuarts. I was scared back them because everyone love that suit the best from Gaim. So I preordered from HLJ, but we all know how hlj is with randomly not fulfilling orders. So I preordered with amiami, but then Nippon got them in early so I brought one of those. Same with Kiwami. Now I have two of Kiwami, Orange and Kachidoki each.

Yeah, I wish I had just one Kachidoki. Also, the Canadian dollar just nosedived so it seems I won't be Figuartsing anytime soon. ;(

Maybe. There isn’t much to show anymore aside from some rather obscure choices though... and they have shown a lot of figures last year that aren't even released or scheduled for it yet.

Meh, we've got plenty from that series. I'd love to see Lord Baron make an appearance again, but never expected everything from the massive display at the last one to be released anyway.

Speaking of, when is the event?

To be fair though we've been getting a Gaim release every other month, so of what was shown, all we have left is:

- Lord Baron
- Gaim Ichigo Arms
- Ryugen Kiwi Arms
- Mars
- Kamuro
- Jam
- Suika Arms

I think it's safe to assume that if they ever come out, Gaim and Ryugen will be a double, and my money's on Mars and Kamuro being the same. So then we're only looking at four, MAYBE five releases. I don't really think they'll do Suika.

Now obviously that roster will grow if they start doing the Gaiden and Movie War Full Throttle suits.

And freaking Gaim Banana Arms.

Both me and you feel the same about Lord Baron. I wanted that figuarts since I saw it last year and was hoping it would be release Jan but was not here still hoping for Feb or March. He the most epic kamen rider villain figuart I ever seen he looks better than the other overlords in gaim

They were all shown at events and stuff for years before they were released from what I understand(since the last couple came out last year and there's photos of them dating back to like 2012 or 2011 or something). Six of the contract monsters were shown too but we've never heard anything about them since. So...yeah.

But yeah, in a dire need for Lord Baron. And I really want Jam too, the design is great.

As far as a Mars/Kamuro 2 pack goes, yeah I probably wouldn't be too interested. I don't like Mars' design, and while I like Kamuro well enough, he never did anything at all so I'm not gonna bother. Jam will be enough.

Jam has a werid face the way he put together. Anyway speaking of Jam I find it crazy that Bandai makes a figuart of a kamen rider that was in one ep and Sentai heros who are in like 50 eps don't even get a figuart made crazy

I do love me some yari, but there's nothing about Kurokage Shin that would remotely make it worth my money. Unless they released it in a multi-pack with two Kurokage Troopers or something.


It really irked me how much they hyped up Kamuro, yet his screentime consisted of all of 15 seconds in suit and the rest being a ball of CGI. Hence why I want an SHF of him, so he'll actually do something. I know that makes no sense. I don't care.

With Bandai you never know they love doing this shit it gives them all the power over the releases

I don't think it's something they enjoy doing, it's just that, being a business, they have a huge number of factors to consider that can be summed up as "But Will It Sell?". More accurately, "Will We Make a Profit?". They don't usually do this stuff just to be trolls.

A bunch of minor retools and redecoes probably yeilds a higher profit than all-new monsters.

Speaking of which, I do hope Bandai releases some Troopers at some point. Kurokage Shin can go die, we need some Troopers. A 2 pack would be fine.

I'm pretty sure Kurokage's scarcity and inflated price (from what I've seen he is only second to Zangetsu Shin in price when he goes up on Mandarake, which is not often) is because people are army building with Hase standing in for the Troopers. And that sucks! I mean, for people who just want Hase I mean. (for instance, me) If Troopers were to be released then hopefully Hase's Kurokage would go down in price. Hopefully.

Yes it is business but still you start a figuart line of one show finish it and move on to another and it kamen rider so yes it would sell it their most popluar toy line and makes the most money and lately their have been a few trolls releases

Until this discussion, I hadn't realized that they previewed so many of the contract monsters. Between this, the Gaim stuff, and the wealth of Sentai they've displayed but never produced (Boukengers, Dekarangers, Mele, etc.)... yeah. I'd gotten accustomed to the western "if you see it at a toy show, it's 99% likely to get produced" thing. Bandai seems to do more aspirational displays.

Then again, they also release stuff on an "eventually" basis. It took them a long time to put out all the Ryuki Riders. I wouldn't be shocked if they were to release some of the Contract Monsters we've seen any more than I would be if they released Gaim Ichigo Arms or Drive Type Tridoron. My only concern is just that the Figuarts for more popular properties like Star Wars and Avengers are reducing our chances at getting Sentai and Rider Figuarts.

Well, and that releases like Broken Helmet Garren are signaling that they feel they've released all the new characters they believe will sell, and are resorting to "battle damage" variants instead. (Then again, I haven't watched Blade, so maybe the broken masks are significant in a way I don't yet understand.)

As to Gaim, I confess I'm way less interested in Kurokage troopers than I am in basic Inves, which were seen throughout the show. Similarly, I'm more interested in Figuarts of the few generic Roidmude than in Brain or Medic.
