There have been other instances where Kaiju suit actors would make their own roars on set. I tried to find the compilation of them with Gamera and King Ghidorah's suit actors roaring, but this was the only one I could find.

If I remember right, the four-legged suits were slightly easier to use because the suits in the old days were heavy, so they were able to balance them a bit better than the two-legged ones, which I believe was the reason for the many quadrupeds in the original Ultraman.

Yes! I too take that stance, a little too much, to the point almost every Kaiju I draw is a spiky lizard.:lol

I look back on my previous comment and do not think it means what I think it means (I'm such an old man) so let me reiterate: Spiky lizard Kaiju are best Kaiju!

Also, I prefer my Kaiju to be Kaiju and not cute Anime girls, so your spiky lizard girls are safe.
