140 base SPATK with Contrary Overheats? With 115 speed?

Yeah... while I think Solar Power is a crap ability, especially for a Mega, but... there's something called over-correcting.

Because Houndoom, across all my games since Gen II, always had Toxic. Since Poison Fang is Toxic that does damage AND badly poisons, and I always teach my Pokémon nothing but offensive attacks, it would have been awesome, especially because my Houndoom is Shiny all the way from Platinum.

Almost every Pokémon can have Toxic. It's one of the most common moves in the game.

Houndoom's ATK isn't crap, but if you really want to poison something with it, which is not a good idea considering its poor defenses and the fact that just going for the knockout is a better call for it's statlines, Sludge Bomb would serve your purposes better. Sure, it's normal poison, but any fight involving a Houndoom isn't going to last long enough for badly poisoned to pay off, as either you'll knock the target out first or you will be KO'd yourself.

Funny thing is I never got that TM until now!

Honestly, depends on what you want. Omega Ruby is the more popular version though iirc

Can someone please explain the point of super training to me I get IVs and EVs but I'm not fully certain of what those two asides from effect stat boosts right?

Online Competitive.

EV's are lifting incremental amount of 5 pounds until you can lift 50.
IV's are genetics.

Perfect IVs mean you can hit the absolute hardest, go the absolute fastest and take the absolute most amount of damage possible.

If you aren't going to be playing the online competitive scene, then you don't need to care.

Haven't all the competitive players moved to Sun&Moon?

Honestly, the Battle Tree feels more BS than any of the other basic Facilities we've ever had.

Ok, so first of all anyone who nicknames Sogaleo/Lunalaa anything other than Nebby is WRONG.

Overall I really liked the story, which is weird to say about a Pokemon game. The one minor disappointment I had was the fight against Lusamine, since I wish you fought her, and not her Pokemon. Overall, all the characters are pretty great (especially Lillie). I think the only one who isn't as good as the others is Hau, since he's kinda shallow. I liked a lot of the little quality of life improvements, like having the Pokeball be mapped to the Y button. But I also can't ignore how they broke fishing, and how they took out Super Training, since that was great, and it really made competitive Pokemon a lot more accessible...and seeing it not return is a massive disappointment. Another disappointment was trainer customization. the clothing options are a hard step back from X and Y, and I have no idea why. Why in the world would you make colors version exclusive? I think Sun and Moon come about as close to a perfect Pokemon game as we've ever had, but all the stuff they either limited (like fishing) or completely took out (Like Super Training) make it fall just short. I hope that in a third iteration, should they make one, they would fix these problems. Also, because I'd like to see what would happen if we got a Black2/White 2 scenario and had a legitimate sequel.

Regular goes up to 20. Not sure about Super, but most people aim for 100.

I got all the way up to 26 in Super Singles last night and got screwed over by Freeze Hax again...

I once made it to battle 48 in Super Doubles. Then in the last turn my Celesteela barely tanked a Thunder with 2 hp, and was ready to deal the last blow....before Thunder paralyzed her, and then she couldn't move.

So that was fun.

Necrozma is not an Ultra Beast so the Beast Ball's high catch rate won't work on him.

Hence why they said it was frustrating...
