Depends on what kind of kit. A lot of kits require paint and extra work to look good. The higher grade Gundams look pretty sweet right out of the box. I don't even apply the decals. I like the clean look. They are somewhat of an aquired taste, but I wouldn't call it frustrating. I sorta stopped with the Gundam kits in favor of Figuarts and other Toku stuff. There are some I would definitely get though if they end up being made. Like Perfect Grade Deathscythe Hell.

Custom. Definitely custom. The guy who made it has made many others also.

why no SIC Accel???? man his form would just translate so well...

Shame, they're pretty intense. If you ever do get into model kits they'd be a good challenge.

Just make sure you have a pair of flush-cutters on hand. I had to trim off the mould sprues by hand with a hobby knife. Every. Last. One.

Yep. Already sold Axe Form after that shot last night. And I have someone lined up for Liner. After all the SHF announcements I have to trade up from the Souchaku Henshins. So my Axe, Wing, Gun, Plat, and Zero Forms will all be up for sale soon.
