There was a Marvel marathon on tv yesterday so I watched some Hulk and USM episodes, I think I'm warming up to Ultimate, it's not great, but Spidey can be fun when he's not over the top, and the episode with the Guardians of the Galaxy and the one about Luke Cage past, were genuinely entertaining. |

Saw the "Perfect Kid" episode of Uncle Grandpa today.
It was kinda cool to see Shaq again and it was enjoyable, but the show's ultimately junk food for the mind: filling but you can do better. |
TMNT is finally back after an inexplicable break and an even stranger change to Sunday mornings aaaand...
>Casey being a badass >Irma showing up already >Turtles actually refer to Power Rangers parody they watch as Super Sentai Best episode yet haha. |
Watched LEGO Batman on TV The other night. It was a fun movie and had it's moments.
My one complaint is how they portrayed batman and robin as well…kinda incompetent. It's also super weird seeing Lego men move the way they do in this CGI animation style. I've seen bits of Ninago and Chima too…no matter how many times I see it, it still feels unnatural, it's not something I'm quite use to as of yet probably because the Lego men IRL aren't that poseable. From what I've seen in the trailers…the Lego Movie coming up looks like it's doing a much better job of capturing the toys in motion. |
TJ Omega just reviewed Cybersix for his show so that got me inspired to watch a few episodes on Youtube.
I still can't believe that this show was made in the 1999s and for kids no less. TJ was right when he complimented the animation, it really looks as good as any show that's done today. I loved this show quite a bit as a kid, I remember watching it before bed on Teletoon. Needless to say I am pumped for the DVD. |
Powerpuff Girls. Such a fun, fun show. Makes me wish Netflix had more than 3 seasons of it.

Cybersix was one of those shows that I had a vague memory of, but no real recollection of. It's in the same boat as Mummies Alive and Challenge of the Gobots. :lol
The review made me curious about the show and interested in a DVD release. |

You can still find a few episodes on Youtube, give it another watch I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it was written. |
Looking forward to seeing new Omniverse episodes after so long before Hall Of Lame takes over the airwaves for the foreseeable future. We get it Snyder; you hate cartoons. Please step down before you hurt yourself more than you already have.
I'm also glad the 2012 Turtles are FINALLY becoming heroes. It shouldn't take over a FUCKING season for that to happen. Raiden's Jack the Ripper persona was more heroic than them in the first season. It's nice that April's getting a plot other than Donnie crush and Casey's joined the team, which is good since he's grown up since Mutagen Man Unleashed. |
I've been out of the loop as far as the new Ninja turtles go but apparently there was yet another Toku reference:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bgo-2r5CcAA7e9M.png That's Ultraman's Spectrum Ray and Kamen Rider The First's henshin pose. |
I'm starting to think that Batman: The Brave and the Bold is the best Batman cartoon.

If I may play devil's advocate for KRX:
Both TAS and TBATB have good and bad points to them. TAS has that timeless look to it and has a serious outlook to its world, everyone is fleshed out to a certain extent and it covers comedy, romance and tragedy in a meaningful way. However TBATB is a more comedic show. It covers more of the DCU than TAS plus it doesn't shy away from death when the situation calls for it. While TAS is grounded in Gotham BATB is not afraid to go wherever OR whenever it wants to. Both shows have their perks. KRX, it would do you go to watch more of TAS. As for everyone else give him time and TBATB is a good show on its own merits. Now if someone will tell me why 2012 TMNT is more loved than 2003 other than "It's on Nick" then I'll be a happy camper. |

Just watched Justice League War. Here's the link. It's easier than copying and pasting the whole thing over here, when it's already on there.

Still though, aside from the romance, it was great even though it had to balance 7 characters. |
