Yeah. Neo Saban is meh. AS much as Disney hates PR, at last the disney seasons are good. I couldn't even watch NInja STeel.

I don't care if PR is on Nick. The kids who watch Nick are enjoying the series and that's the only thing that Nick & Saban care about at this rate. We are not the main audience for these shows, so Saban is not going to care "We need PR on another Network because we don't like two seasons of the same show".

Also Nick is the only network willing to air it.

But let's pretend for a minute it isn't, does anyone here really believe either CN or Disney would treat the show as well as Nick has?

CN would probably air it almost every day for the first couple of weeks, blowing through about 5 new episodes in a single week, before completely wiping it from their line up save for the occasion week where they blow through another 4 new episodes at once. Just look at how often shows other the Teen Titans Go and *maybe* Gumball air.

From what I was told that CN does not care about their 3rd party shows and airs Transformers super early in the morning. Disney didn't want the franchise anymore.

People should the accept the fact that PR is going to be on Nick. It has been for six years and people should get over it.

Discovery or one of the non-Fox, non-ABC networks would also be a good fit if the timing and details are conducive. Hypothetically, Kyuranger and its space themes would work for Discovery, but I can't say who owns Discovery. It would be better if a new kids station were created. The Hub was surprisingly good (from the bits of it I saw). We need someone who will work with the show regardless of Saban's nature. An agreeable station would not only air the show, but might suggest BIGGER entries like TV movies and marathons, possibly helping to absorb heavy production costs.

P.S.: Given what Machinima has done for Transformers, could they help PR too?

Machinima is still a thing? I thought they died out a few years ago seeing how they are nowhere as big as they where in the old days of Youtube.

Admittedably, Combiner Wars wasn't ideal and had several flaws, but bad can ultimately and strangely pave the way to good. There is to be another attempt with Titans Return and JDF is a reported voice actor. What they failed to do the first time may have helped them "work out the kinks". I feel as though they are a potential helmsman for an animated PR web series, particularly one that answers long-time franchise questions regarding costumed characters who no longer have a suit for a live-action production. Nick isn't going to play ball anytime soon in this regard, and maybe Machinima can do for PR what they failed to do for Transformers! Just a thought.

Nick is on a bigger scale than Machinima. Kids still watch Nick from what I was told and people have to deal with it. It has been on the network for six years now and it is not going to stop soon.

All completely true! A few years ago, I was passing out candy during Halloween in a Mighty Morphin' Red mask, and one kid said "Jayden", referencing Samurai. Modern audiences don't have the same love affair with the older shoes, and that is what Machinima would focus on. They did "Combiner Wars" for older fans, and the same would be true for an animated PR series. The Nick thing needs to cease but it sadly won't anytime soon, and therefore the next answer (among a select few) is to divide the efforts, cause Nick isn't doing a lot for Ninja Steel right now. I can only hope Super Ninja Steel will generate additional support and a ratings increase, cause show success is the only thing that will affect Nick's handling of PR.

We already have comics and a whole toyline for older fans.

If the "whole toyline" is the Legacy Line, then it's an incomplete line which, alongside BOOM!, is flooding the market with Mighty Morphin' and not focusing on the rest of the franchise. Many have noted the past few days how Bandai and Saban are ignoring the rest of franchise (the Psycho Rangers and Zeo accessories being the most obvious violation to the rule). They've started to move forward, but they haven't quite caught up.

Is it ever explained what exactly characters like Ninjor, Auric, and Sentinel Knight are? I get the feeling theyre evolved intelligent zords of some sort, ala Animus.

Found this guy a year or two on Youtube and found him again. I honestly don't know what to think cause it's hard to hear. Has a tendency to post songs in reverse, which typically has negative connotations depending on who you ask. I place this hear cause he has the Green Ranger and Beetleborgs theme "alterations", plus Gosei Knight. He isn't strictly limited to Toku or the like, but it's an obvious inclusion. Listen if you wish, and decide for yourselves.

Despite Shishi Red Orion still considered "red", who thinks he will be called the White Ranger in the MMPR adaptation? Thinking about it I think it will be kind of a cool homage to MMPR Season 2 and 3 what with the White Ranger being the leader. OR, say that it is actually two rangers in one with the "white ranger/Shishi Red Orion" being a second persona of sorts that has made the Red Ranger/Shishi Red's body a new home a la imagins I guess. Just throwing it out there for discussion sake.

So just wondering. Has there ever been a Power Rangers where we had a final battle against the season's big bad where he was giant, and the Rangers used their Zords? Cause I can't remember any off the top of my head, but I haven't watched every show.

I know it's complicated by the fact that most of the time they change the US big bad with a new one, and thus wouldn't have any footage from Japan of them fighting the Zords. But I remember fakeouts too for both Rita and Zedd, and more recently Sledge. King Mondo did fight the Super Zeo Megazord IIRC, but that was a midseason fight.

Some villains grew in the end or before the end, but even if they did, not all were stopped by a Zord!

- Mondo did grow again at the end of Zeo and was punched-out! However, he wasn't blown-up again until after the fight by Rita and Zedd!

- Ecliptor turned red and grew just before the In Space finale, but he shrunk and was defeated, losing his red form!

- Diabolico and Olympius were destroyed by the Lifeforce Megazord, which was adapted from the GoGo V finale! Granted, it wasn't the the Lightspeed Rescue finale, but just prior to it.

- Frax was sent into a giant robot and destroyed by Wes and the Q-Rex in the Time Force finale, though Ransik himself never grew or piloted a robot!

- Master Org achieved his final form and wasted every Wildzord the Rangers had on call! However, they were all revived alongside some lost Wildzords and beamed Master Org away! The Org Heart was destroyed by the Rangers to prevent him from regenerating!

- Lothor briefly piloted a Zord in the Ninja Storm finale, and it was destroyed in a battle which also destroyed the Storm Megazord. Lothor survived and made his last push!

- Zeltrax broke away from Mesagog and sent a Zord against the Rangers, which cost them two Megazords! Mesagog himself made his final appearance after Zeltrax was destroyed by Tommy and Kira.

- The Swat Megazord was used to destroy the body of Omni, the unseen BIG BAD in S.P.D., but Gruumm was handled by Doggie.

- Octomus defeated the Manticore Megazord, but was still giant when the normal-sized Rangers defeated him!

- Flurious also achieved a final from and grew briefly before Mack defeated him!

- Dai Shi also achieved a final form and fought the Megazords before the Rangers defeated him for good without a Megazord!

- Master Xandred from Samurai/Super Samurai largely preserves the ending of Shinkenger! The Rangers make a last ditch effort with the Gigazord, but as they move forward, the Auxiliary Zords are blasted away until only the Samurai Megazord remains, and delivers the final strike!

- Sledge was a giant, and despite the Zords they could've used, they found an alternate method to stop him!

I tried but can't find the resemblance, my bad. If so would be awesome if it turned out that someone in Disney's music department was a hardcore sentai nut circa 2002~2003 and just decided to integrate that bit you mentioned.

Nope. Without hesitation. I love Nickelodeon but yeah I just hate how they are handling the show with their scheduling. I don't care if it is protocol it just feels stupid.

I remember PR gets good ratings on Nick. I remember when they had Samurai on Nick and that help PR to be brought back to the mainstream public again. I don't watch Nick or follow the newest PR shows, but I always see PR toys of the newest shows when I walk around Target and Wal-Mart for grocery store shopping. I also see TV ads for them when I flip through the TV channels.

Why does Nickelodeon put Power Rangers on hiatus? Isn’t there a five-month break after so many episodes? Although I’m assuming that hiatuses aren’t just Power Rangers-exclusive, and they also happen to other shows as well.
