I was link trading with someone about to trade my Level 100 normal Shiny Graveler (Giving him a Golem in the process since it was gonna trade evolve) for his Level 100 Shiny Alolan Marowak.

Before I managed to successfully trade him my Level 100 Shiny Feraligatr for his Level 100 Shiny Midnight Lycanroc, why it did it this time is beyond me.

So was one of yourPokemon hacked?

I actually managed to find someone who helped me out on that and traded me them.

Don't care. I did nothing wrong except try to complete my Shiny collection and I'm getting wrongly punished for it!

Until you can verify that the person who "Helped" you didn't hack the shinies themselves, it's kind of obvious why you've been soft banned.
And considering there was an exploit early on to change a Pokemon into a shiny (As well as duplicate items), yeah, the game recognizes they've been manipulated.

No. I got the Mega Stones legit, a friend on TFW was able to accumulate enough BP to get them all and kindly traded me them.

They're one time items and you only have the guy's word, not to mention it doesn't refute illegitimate shinies

I didn't get any Shinies with them, he put them on some of his regular Pokémon, I took the stones off, then traded them back to him.

Also fortunately I'm unbanned again. Yay.

And you genuinely believe that? That's the issue, naivety. Think about it. What other reason is there you could be getting softbanned multiple times? If everything you got was legit, then that means you've hacked the game and the game detected that

And you believe that all of them are completely legit?

Some were traded, most were transferred from older games.

That doesn't mean they were all legitimate unfortunately

This was legit and so was what I traded, a regular Level 100 Uxie I've had transferred from Platinum.

Granted there's that event, but how are you certain it's legitimate? Did it say it was a Japanese Tapu Koko?

Yes it was of Japanese origin but there are Japanese players who know English and play the games in English, which it how I got it.

It was a Japan exclusive event. It should at least say it was Japanese like how a mon from Germany says GER. Check it's status screen for when and how it was met

That Tapu Koko of yours is hacked. You cannot trade them over GTS. The Classic Ribbon that should be on it prevents that.

You know what, why do I even bother sharing good news like this when you guys go and ruin it all?! That's not fair AND that's just plain mean!

Because we also have to listen to you moan about how Nintendo are causing you "mental anguish" for having hacked shinies.

You could look at it that way. But on the flipside, you could also be thankful that you know how to tell fake event Pokémon from real ones now, and you also probably have found out the reason for your bans at the same time. It’s not that you created fake Pokémon, but rather received them and possible traded them around after as well.

Maybe the GTS isn’t really what you’re looking for considering how much trouble it causes you. If you want to hunt event / shiny Pokémon a legitimate forum with a supervised marketplace might be more helpful.

I actually did, I signed up to Neoseeker. They have a pretty good Pokémon trading forum on there and I was able to post my want list for Gen VII Shinies on there.

I also signed up to Serebii.net's forum and posted my want list there as well.

I went into a record shop today that happens to sell videogames and I see two of the GBA Pokemon games, I think Emerald and Leafgreen both going for $35.

But I checked price charting online and the average price of the cart is like $10-20 dollars. Is it normal for stores to price gouge on pokemon games or am I crazy?

It's normal, gaming stores and such are dying out so they're trying to trick people
