So I am down sizing my sentai SHF collection and have considered getting the original form for KR (I have not seen more than 6 episodes of any season, I just like how they look). I think I might start with the Heisei riders and wait on the Showa riders (due to them being redone). Which heist riders looks completely dated next to the more recent ones (Drive and Gaim)?

W and OOO's base forms look dated next to Gaim and Drive. The original figuarts for Kuuga, Kabuto and Agito look like children toys now compare to the newer figuarts. Ryuki, Blade, Den-O and Fourze still look nice on display in my opinion. Flame Style Wizard does not look too bad on display if you're figuart of him does not have QC issues up the ass like mine.

Rider 3's showing as in stock for me at AmiAmi, so people waiting on that should be getting payment requests sometime tonight.

So I take it the Dragrenzer and the 2-pack release with Ryuuki Survive flew under everyone's radar or did I just miss the boat?

EDIT: Nvm, was the latter. Still a damn good-looking figure, though.

Well considering Figuarts is a Japan thing, and thus they go by what is popular over there more than here...nope.

I would imagine if the movie does well in Japan then I can see it happening. I would imagine that they will probably be web exclusives.

I could see it happening because only MMPR sales (apparently), but just them rolling out the figures just because, I don't see happening.

Maybe the 40th sentai though. And that is a gigantic maybe.

I doubt we'll see anything special for the 40th anniversary, there's no indication the season will be any kind of big deal and since they already know Sentai stuff doesn't sell, I don't see it making any kind of difference. They didn't do anything big even for the recent Kamen Rider or Precure anniversaries.

Also, more Gaim stuff is nice, but I’m not interested in those. Kuro Gaim is unnecessary to me, as is Ringo Baron (Give me KR Mars dammit!) and while Dragon Energy Duke is really awesome I have no more space in my display for alternate arms and I like Lemon Energy more anyways.

But that Lord Baron which I assume will be released soon-ish… awesome!

And for the Drive-stuff – why the f is Type Tridoron “Display Only”? That really crushes the expectations of everyone who wanted him soon. I won’t buy any of those, but seeing Brain is cool. Chaser-Mach however… butt ugly and lazy as the form in the show was.

Since Overlord Baron is the one people really want, I predict that after this weekend it will never be seen again.
