As for USUM that they go along the Black2 & White2 route and make them sequels that take place a couple years after the events of the original games and give us new areas to go to, maybe even a new area to start from.

I wonder what the story behind this fusion is going to be about as they didn't even give us any hints unlike how they did with Kyurem. This will definitely be interesting.

Another thing, since this is a continuation of Gen 7, we won't be seeing any new Pokemon but as you can see here, we'll definitely be seeing some new formes. Maybe gen 2 forms?

Also. If you look at the Wingull flying. Does that mean that you can have your Pokémon follow you again? It does look like it stays on you the whole time when you walk up the hill.

Since this is an alternate SM, maybe in this world the UB are just normal legendary. Maybe they have different forms. Necrozma who was a normal legendary is now considered UltraBeast hence the ability to merge.

Also when I played Sun it felt like a slog, empty, and boring and I was glad when it was over. I haven't touch the game since.

I really hope the game is much better the second time around because if it not and it the same slog I just wait until we get D/P remakes or gen 8.

Remember that you get the gene splicers for Zekrom and Reshiram in the Aether Paradise? What if that's foreshadowing the idea that Sogaleo and Lunala can fuse with Necrozma?

Not sure how they could be more unambiguous. It was rather clearly stated a main game is being worked on for Switch...

So now everyone can be happy. I get Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon for my 3DS, and everyone else gets a core Pokémon game for the Switch.

Remember, Switch and 3DS crossplay IS possible as Monster Hunter XX will have it

The fact a Pokemon game is coming to Switch puts my fears of Nintendo idiotically coming out with another handheld while the Switch exists to rest.

They still might considering the Switch is primarily meant to focus as a home console or they might just keep the 3DS going for a few years as the "budget option" to the Switch.

It'd be odd though to make a completely new one since they merged their game divisions a while ago supposedly because of the Switch. Then again these are the same guys who thought the New 3DS was a good idea.


And if this a new "real" Pokemon and not something like Coliseum this could be the Switch's "299" moment.

Remakes have always been 1 generation per console, so I don't see why DP remakes wouldn't be for the Switch (or new handheld system outside the 3DS family).
