Sans Larago, I must disagree.
MMPR: The Movie had horrible costume changes, horrible CGI, horrible villains (I freaking hated Ooze), pointless subplots, that stupid kid, Zordon being some guy floating in the tube, and a stupid climax (Kneeing an enemy in the crotch to kill him is funny. This being the climatic battle that's supposed to showcase the new Megazord was just stupid).

Turbo had Larago and the lack of explanation as to why they'd drop the Zeo powers.

The mmpr could have been saved with a)the inclusion Of Ninjor and b)a CGI budget of more than $20 dollars

That always bothered me to. Also makes me think that the Zeo Powers still exist. They were never destroyed, so maybe Tommy still has his tucked away somewhere.

Don't forget that Turbo also put in Divatox, who was the worst PR villain I had ever seen until Lothor, Mr Snow, and Disco Skeletor came into being.

I just love how Turbo (series) made a mention that Delphia had a twin sister and then that plotline was never heard from again.

Aw c'mon. It was the cutting edge of CGI. . .for 1987.

Eh, fair enough. I can't really argue with the horrible resolution :lol

However Turbo had horrible villains, horrible costumes (the Pirahnatrons looked like grown men in undersized costumes), pointless cameos that served no purpose other than have Jason shout like a lunatic at the top of his voice, Larago and family, and no explanation for the Zeo powers being dropped.

But most importantly, next to no morphed footage whatsoever. MMPR the movie had little of it as it was, but Turbo took it one step further. The only thing particularly impressive in Turbo was the awesome Megazord formation sequence.

Personally, I'd take a subpar non-canon AU movie that actually felt like a movie over a subpar canon movie that just felt like a bad extended TV episode anyday.

I was going to mention the fact that Justin seemed to only be the Blue ranger because he found out their identities, but then I remembered that worked for Rocky, Adam, Aisha and Kat too. So in reality that's probably all you need to do to be a power ranger :lol

It's like catching a leprechaun. You find a ranger, discover their secret identity, and you get to be a Ranger.
