Man if we're talking overrated, the Dekaranger theme is one for me. I like it a lot, but I still think it gets far more praise than it deserves.

Shinkenger is one of the most awesome Super Sentai themes of all time. It's just so kinetically energetic.

Okay, fair enough. I personally never found Journey Through the Decade boring, but I can see how people can. Now for Gokaiger being too cheery, I don't get that. Do you mean too upbeat and happy-go-lucky, or the fact that part of the chorus is literally "Let's go, let's Gokaiger!"? Because if it's the latter, then aren't all Super Sentai themes like that? Therefor making your point moot.

I find the contrast in our opinions to be somewhat perturbing. Are you sure you do not live in a universe that mirrors (one of) mine?

Goseiger's theme isn't nearly on the same level as Shinkenger's. I'll admit, I haven't watched Goseiger, so I don't know how fitting of a theme it is, but... there's just something about it that doesn't click with my idea of Sentai. Furthermore, the "TENSOU!" just kills it for me, as do some of the stylistic choices they made for the song.

Now, I watched Shinkenger. I adored almost everything about it. I will admit, I am really biased towards Shinkenger. But that does not mean the series is the only reason I like the theme. Whenever I hear "Chan chanbara, chan-bara! Chanbara bara, chan-bara!" I immediately begin singing along. Everytime I heard that theme, I got pumped for the episode. I have put this theme on a loop, full volume during parties (everyone else either didn't pay attention or were annoyed that they couldn't understand a word). To put it simply, I think the theme is appare.

I meant the first one. If it was the second, than I would also have a problem with Go-Onger's "3, 2, 1, Let's Go! OooonJaaaa!".

And I'll freely admit that I hated almost every single thing to do with Shinkenger. Barring that, I also still think the song is overrated.
