Sounds like a reboot is right up your alley. Then again, I don't blame you if you're not satisfied with the one we got.

Yeah, I know the game has advanced beyond Hugo splash now (Hell, if I recall, Kazuya usage has dropped significantly, too), and the pace is a lot faster since tagged out characters heal a lot slower and throws remove red health.
While I did enjoy that 2013 turned the game from Hugo and Kazuya vs. Rolento and Raven into Street Fighter vs. Tekken (For realsies), the appeal has faded.
Really, the hurdle keeping me from going back online is just practice. I'm really out of practice, and I'm just not as interested enough to put in time to re-learn combos now.

I've been playing the Tomb Raider reboot, which I've enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would. It's not a complete clone of Uncharted (the combat is kept to a minimum, for the most part) and it does a pretty good job of showing a vulnerable female character, without making it seem like she's inches away from an emotional break down and/or needing the constant support of countless male characters around here.

I get the feeling this is the game that Metroid: Other M wanted to be, before falling flat on its face.. and gouging both of its eyes out.

Have any of you played Red Faction Guerrilla???

So I finally finished the main story for Borderlands 2 and I must say that was truly one of my favorite games that I have played recently. I really recommend it for people that want the best of RPGs and fps gameplay.

Well, I've started playing Super Smash Bros.: Brawl in my free-time.

Desmond's story made sense, even if it was cliche. I certainly didn't expect it however.

Not sure what you mean by the Quick Time Events though, besides dodging a galloping horse and animal combat.

As for me, Tomb Raider! And damn, it's incredible! But Lara sure does freakin' fall... a lot.

Beat Tomb Raider. It's very short, but very fun. I enjoyed it immensely.

I also finished the Tyranny of King Washington Part 2: The Betrayal. Eagle Power for the freakin' win. It's a bit "cheaterish" but oh my damn, so fun.
