They're totally only releasing Ryu Ranger so that Kiba Ranger can have a reason to be out for MMPR's 20th anniversary. That's my guess anyways.

I'm disappointed in the Yellow Owl at the moment. Raita was a big guy in and out of suit in Jetman. I don't want a skinny imposter(unless it was female one to be Luka)

Or because they'll be appearing in Akibaranger? Dairanger and Kibaranger in particular are hugely popular in Japan, up there with Jetman amongst the old school fans.

We knew Blue Swallow was appearing, since she showed up one of the teasers. I figured Hurricane red was to tie in with the V cinema.

Well obviously they're appearing in season 2, but I think MMPR had to play a role in Tamashii Nations choosing to release Kibaranger instead of just Ryu Ranger. They are only releasing Hurricane Red from Hurricanger, after all.

Any new reds/teams is always good news, I look forward to them. The only teams I intend on completing would be the Kyoryugers and the Gekirangers if they ever get full releases =)
