Zedd and Goldar were crap. Face it. Zedd was threatening for all of 6 episodes before parental complains caused them to tone him down and he felt like the Shredder with a neat design. He was not missed unless you're too busy jacking your nostalgia boner over him, since he was inept, generic, and lame.
Goldar has been lame as hell since they paired him up with Rito.

This is bullshit since the MMPR and Zeo villains weren't anything worth taking seriously to begin with.
Unless a giant crawfish is suddenly the epitome of villain costumes and I just don't understand.

Justin is twice the actor JDF and Johnny Yong Bosch, Justin was one of the better characters in all of Power Rangers, Justin is one of the better actors in all of Power Rangers. Justin is one of the best characters I've seen and citing him as a negative is complete bullshit, especially if you haven't seen the show in 15 years.

TJ was more worthy of Tommy to be Red. Adam was not a good character. Get over yourself. You can like the actors all you want, but their characters were shit, and their acting was even worse. Drop your nostalgia and open your eyes. TJ, Carlos, and Cassie were far, far better than those 3 ever were.

If you haven't watched Turbo since airing, then rewatch it and then present your issues. If you still think it's bad, fine, I'll back down. But it's been over 15 years and everyone is so buttmad over it they refuse to re-watch it, so it's hard to trust an opinion who can't give it the time of day to reevaluate it but does have the time to constantly bitch and hate over it.

No he wasn't. Don't you remember that after Zedd and Rita blew him up at the end of Zeo, his head was still active and he vowed revenge against them? It was the last scene before the last commercial break.

I do agree that they turned Goldar into a joke, but Zedd still entered the command center, he fought Tommy, he captured the Falconzord, Ninjor, and pretty much won the battle with the rangers.

What I mean is that the monsters just did not look threatening in Turbo. Their dialog and personalities did not fit the Japanese footage.

As a kid this was bad because they went from awesome zords that were based off mythological creatures to cars. When you love mythology and have absolutely no interest in cars, this makes a big difference.

I hate Justin with a passion. It was more of them still treating him like he was an adult character even though he was a child. And I still think Tommy and Adam are the best Power Rangers ever. They were always my favorite as a kid and they are still my favorites to this day. That bike episode was just down right awful.

Compared to what they look in the show? They looked far more terrifying in the movie.

Never cared for Shane that much, but the Phantom Ranger and BLue Senturion were lame characters. They could have done so much with Blue since he was sent from the future, but nope, another dropped plot line. Sure, it could be what happens in PRiS, but they didn't even bother to touch on it in PRiS.

I'll rewatch it when I get the DVDs. I just finished the MMPR set last week, so I'll get the next set when it is on sale and I have the money for it and I'll watch them all in order. I might enjoy the show more since I absolutely love CarRanger.

Oh yeah, there is one other thing I hated about Turbo and that was the treatment of Bulk and Skull. First, what happened to them being international spies like they did at the end of Zeo? Sure, they would fail, but it was not even talked about. They were just randomly cops again in the Turbo movie. THen they get turned into freaking monkeys, only to go invisible. WTF was the point of it? IT showed the writers had no idea what to do with their characters anymore.

Lost Galaxy is kind of where the show lost my interest. I did not care for the completely new cast, I was sick of buying new toys every year from square 1, also, Beast Wars had become my main focus by then, and I did not like the Starship Troopers vibe I was getting from the show. Their military uniforms felt like they were just taken from that movie set. As such, outside of Ninja Storm and DinoThunder, I never really watched any of the series outside of like their premier episodes and maybe an episode here or there. I don't think I've seen anything to Time Force though, maybe one episode of Wild Force, and then I've only seen 2 episodes of JF and nothing afterwards until the first two episodes of MegaForce. Now JF and RPM is pretty much because Disney took the shows off the air in my area, but I also hated the first two episodes of JF, so I didn't care. As for OO and MysticForce, I've seen the first and last few to each series, but I could never stand the series enough to watch the whole thing. I hated the cast to both series, I hated the rap music to MF, I hated the Attack of the Clones music from MysticForce, and I hated the Miser Brothers being the villains of OO. Not to mention a lot of episodes in MF I did see felt majorly rushed and the Sentai footage looked like it was being played on fast forward.

That's because the suits were taken from Starship Troopers...

Anyway, I think the yearly cast changes were a nice change of pace. Of course there were characters I liked, but the writers were so intent on never letting the characters grow up, it's not like they had actual stories beyond the Green With Evil saga.

I honestly, now I'm an adult and have rewatched a lot of Power Rangers stuff with a much wider toku pallet, have to say I really dislike a vast majority of Power Rangers seasons. Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Ninja Storm, Mystic Force, Jungle Fury, RPM - all fantastic but all the rest of the seasons range from downright awful to just having good moments dotted around a lot of shit.

That's precisely how I'd describe Ninja Storm :lol

Anyway, Turbo will still be one of my more fonder series.
