I like Samurai...*shrugs*

I'm through 6 episodes of SPD. I never watched it sequentially when it was airing so it will be good to get that out of the way. I enjoyed how you didn't have a team to start out the series and it is taking a couple episodes to actually have them working together and trusting one another.

Nah. I still found Operation Overdrive and Ninja Storm to be much, much worse.

I still need to finish Samurai, but it wasn't as annoyingly terrible as some other series.

Overdrive I can understand, but Ninja Storm? How. I liked it way better than Samurai

Some people just aren't keen on the extreme sports surf ninjas.
I've seen people argue that "It adds to their charm," but I couldn't stand them. Add in a stupid ass villain, and you have a recipe for WTF.

Nothing in that show was enjoyable for me. It's my least favourite PR season by far.

I never cared much to even notice the sports stuff, Lothor wasnt that bad... Alright yes it was. But I liked most other things it did, like Cam's arc, the Thunder brothers, the designs are awesome. Not disagreein with yall but its nowhere my least favorite. That would be OO or Samurai itself.

Honestly, Cam's arc is the only thing that stops me from wanting to condemn the series entirely. The Thunder Brothers were introduced WAY too early (I think they first appeared in episode 2? Maybe 3?) for them to feel like a large threat, and the designs were hit and miss (I liked the suits, but the megazord looked terrible. Way too bulky for a ninja and the Lightning mode just felt like a lame excuse "We couldn't figure out how to make the toys look this thin, so screw it. Let's just copy Ultraman for the next 3 minutes").

And how could you not notice the Extreme sport theme? Literally every scene not in their base or on a battlefield revolved around them and their sport of choice.
Dustin in a non action scene? He's at the BMX shop tuning up his dirt bike. Shane in a non action scene? He's in his helmet chilling at the skate park. Tori? On the beach in a bikini.

It's like Disney thought ninjas weren't cool enough so they had to make them EXTREEEEEME.

Wasn't XTREME still really popular in 2003?
