The only way I see the idea working, even a little, is if they go an OO route. And Spy Force is trying to beat Nega-Disk to a greater power and find it first. Becoming Kyoryuger.

Why are they even doing the gigantic breaks, anyway? Series X is 20 episodes, and it's Super sequel is another 20 episodes. A year is only 52 weeks, why does 40 episodes need 4 multi-month long breaks?

Because Nickelodeon has a rule that a show can only have a certain number of episodes per season.

But that doesn't explain why the season has to be chopped up and spread so thin.

It'd be weird to have Cheeda Nick change into Minityra if they did try to have GoBusters and Kyoryuger as the same series...
