Waiting for the sub before I check it out and give my opinion.

Is it as bad as Kyoryuger was like I feared, does it strike some sorta balance like W managed, is it closer to Ryuki's tone?

Oh it is deffinitely more like W. Maybe even closer to Ryuki.

The show is not super goofy, there was zero slapstick, and the dancing was brief and nothing more than just some kids dancing for a minute.

It's pretty neat. Better than Wheezort, but not super memorable. That may chage. It's a phat beat fo sho.

It's very much a mix of Ryukis basic concept with the flare/style of Den-O and W.

Gotta say, loved the first episode. And I noticed small parallels to Pokémon X and Y, given the Yggdrasil references in both, and the two Riders fighting in the beginning are Blue and Red respectively. (But then again, that's my nerd showing :lol)
