That's really just it. SDCC exclusives should be something you don't need if you don't want it. Not a lot of people probably care that the exclusive is an Armored Black Ranger, but if the SDCC exclusive was a character we have yet to get in some form already. Say for example... Deka Break/SPD Omega Ranger or Bouken Pink and Yellow/Operation Overdrive Pink and Yellow.

People would rage because a major character not received thru basic means was turned into an exclusive.

Mattel is notorious for this with their exclusives at SDCC a lot of times.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It's frustrating when exclusives are something important since they're usually so much harder to get, I prefer when they're like this. Something cool and unique, but far from necessary for most collections.

Fully agree with the last few posts. This is pretty much the ideal SDCC exclusive imo.

I was hoping for a Green Ranger without armor to come with the Armored Black Ranger as was the rumor.

I actually just watched the episode with Zack getting the armor yesterday afternoon on Netflix. I didn't know it was the final episode of Season One, but the next episode was the first for Season 2 "The Mutiny, Part I"

They might save the armed less green for another con like NYCC
