I fail to see the problem.
It means that they won't be locked and bound to adapt the direct next series and also means that they can greater explore characters and stories akin to In Space (Don't want to end up like Gokaiger, with almost no development).

Power Rangers fans have survived on a steady diet of blind panic and pie-in-the-sky speculation for more than a decade! That's like asking them not to breathe!

This is Saban keeping everyone "on message." Nothing in that statement says that Gokaiger will not be adapated. Just that it's not being adapted right now.

Actually, I can see Saban skipped Gokaiger altogether, not because it is too "adult" for children, but because it will save them the trouble of getting the Power Rangers alumnis back for a cameo appearance in their respective tribute episodes. Go-busters would be much easier to adapt, since it already has the "morphin" calls, and it won't require them to increase the budget for cameo appearances.

Cameos can simply be random z list actor in ranger get up Ala rpm red in the samurai crossover. On the other under if someone is willing and available then they can appear sans costume. Not a big deal.

Let's face it, it wouldn't be unheard of for them to not port a series.... Dai ranger, kakuranger...

As for the whole legend war thing, what's wrong with it being used for power rangers 20?

And Goseiger could work as a perfect homage to MMPR. Giant head that's in charge like zordon? Check! Little robot helper like alpha? Check! Same colours with a possible sixth green that can be upgraded to a lion/tiger ranger? Check! Heck the second set of bad guys come out of a thing remarkably similar to Rita's capsule. And I'm sure they use a mech to bridge a gap in a road/railway ala a Power Rangers movie.

Just wanted to give my two cents, I'll hand the job of goseiger defence back to Sentai =p

As stated in the source article of the news story, Power Rangers 20 is not a new series, nor a TV Show. It's just the name of the celebration.

Except that they did port Dairanger and Kakuranger. They ported the monsters and Zord footage from Dairanger for season 2, and they ported the Kakuranger suits, the monsters, villains, and Zord footage from Kakuranger for season 3.

I should have explained myself better, although thinking about it, whatever I say is wrong =p That and i dont know enough about the japanese counterparts to say they drastically differ. I was going to say how they never really ported the suits/teams, but kakuranger's were used for alien ranger...

Basically, until I started following sentai/reading up on it, I would never have thought MMPR would have combined 3 different series, I thought there was just a lot of mecha =p dinosaur to dragon made sense in my kid mind.

I guess I'm trying to say they could just pull a season 2 =]
