Wow I really left this one late, huh? Guess this week really got away from me. Never seem to have much time these days... Luckily the episode was one of ToQ's best.

Akira really has been the saving grace for me for a long time now, I know we're supposed to laugh at him but for all of his silliness he really puts his money where his mouth is in the fight scenes and this episode proved he's a great guy outside of them. It's hard to believe such a badass ToQ was birthed from such a pathetic Shadow Monster, if the show was smarter I'd assume the irony was intentional.

This episode also highlighted the potential of the team too, it was all very silly but their unconventional but moral paladin approach to defeating the monster of the week was very charming indeed. They were especially great in the action scenes too this week.

I'm both simultaneously hearthwarmed and saddened by Akira giving back the cat. Poor guy. He needs another cat. Apart from that, Hikari... (I know he's a boy, but I don't think my brain cares...)

Why didn't Akira get to keep the cat :mad:!?
