Man this episode was great. I loved every second of it.
- Seeing Yuuya Gaim was quite interesting. I totally forgot that Kouta wasn't actually ever suppose to be Gaim. And it does make sense Yuuya would be kind of an asshole as Gaim, since Sid only gave out belts to assholes and people with the potential to be assholes lol. - So Kouta's finally become an Inves, huh? Quite cool. - Love how Gaim vs Kouta fight mirrored Hase's death. So I guess if Yuuya became Gaim, Kouta would be in Hase's position? It kinda shows how different everything could have played out because Yuuya would be just as bad as the other Beat Riders and the world would have likely turned to shit much faster. - Duke is hysterical. He's kinda in that "Do whatever the hell I want mode" - Micchy actually seems like kind of a badass now |

Holy Toledo! This episode was great, and yeah I had a feeling one of his choices would be to save the world by sacrificing himself or whatever...it's a very Urobuchi thing to do from my understanding. This episode really cemented Kouta as my number 2 favorite main Rider. he's a SUPER close second to Gentarou. This was an awesome episode for Kouta. If I had one complaint it was that the scene transition between Ryouma looking at the screens to Mai was a little weird, and that the thing of Kouta having these two choices, I think most, if not all of us saw that coming from a mile away...but they gave the others important stuff to do as well. I didn't really feel like there was any time wasted in this episode. Maybe having Kaito and Micchy's fight start now...I could see how some might see that as a negative. Since their fight won't end until the next episode, or Kouta runs in just in time to save Micchy from getting killed or something. I see those things as minor, personally. Though...Green Lady having hypnosis abilities did kinda come out of nowhere.

Kouta is fucking brilliant! I love his words and how he fought back. I absolutely love Kouta. It was great to see his dream world and see how he's been manipulated by Sagara and see what the power of the Forbidden Fruit is. I think Kouta has definitely jumped up my favorites list.

So.
Kouta's becoming an Overlord, losing his appetite, becoming a monster essentially.. Think next he'll absorb one million Sunflower Lockseeds, use them to try and defeat the Overlords but fail, and have to use Kaito's Banana Lockseed to defeat Roshuo? But, because it was cracked by Micchy, it shatters after the fight and Kaito's lost forever. Until the movie where he comes from the future to save them from that time's Gaim gone crazy because of a Lockseed. These OOO references doing anything for anyone? They're making me laugh. The episode itself was good, as always. The alternate reality kind of drug on but watching Kaito start the beatdown of Micchy made up for that. |
This episode contains the best rider BSOD comeback ever. That was intense!

This was a good episode. Not the best but okay. The fights were alright, Yuyya Gaim I prefer over Kouta Gaim.

This was possibly the best episode yet.
Since I just watched the sub, I'm still processing everything. It was a little overwhelming. This is what I knew Kouta's character was capable of. Every character in fact was useful to this episode. I want to say it's gonna be hard to beat this, but I'm gonna wait and keep watching. Epic story keeps getting more epic. |
Oh, and on a side note, did anyone else feel sorry for the suit actor playing Kouta-Invess? Dude was getting beat like it was a free for all at a women's safety course. Eyes! Eyes! Neck! Groin! Even poor Kouta-Invess comes off looking a little cute. Like the cuddly monster you want to give hugz to.
