I loved it then the twenties came and those were a bit tough but when the revelations revealed in the thirties came I am absolutely into it now. I also think that with the revelations I know now I'd probably enjoy the show more from the beginning.

I've enjoyed it so far, but then again this is my first sentai, and I've only really watched what we've got once through, so I don't exactly have the best perspective on the subject.

I like it but this is the first Sentai I've watched as it goes along (well, from about 20 onwards) and I have pretty low standards.
The fact that it's utterly ridiculous and very light in tone is something that I can see some people wouldn't like but it's nice to have a lighthearted comedic series sometimes. |
For every 9 episodes 1 is about forwarding he main story. Then you have to wait another 9 for the story to continue.
The train fights are totally worth watching it alone. For the record I do still watch it and I am 1 episode behind atm. |
Following on from my older comment: I'm not quite as enamoured with it as I was a month or two ago, but I still think it's a strong series and would count it as one of my favourites. It's a lot better than people give it credit for.

I never hated it & still enjoy it, but it is not going to be in my Top 5 of Sentai series.

If nothing else, ToQGer has been a consistant episode with nothing I can think of that's really terrible, or really great either.
I still think it's sad that we're half way into the show and Right and the others still can't lay a finger on the Shadow line generals... |

At this point, I absolutely love ToQger at least as much as any other Sentai.
I think it really had it rough coming after 3 shows that have really dedicated fans, and it was admittedly pretty rough at first, but in general I think it improved a bit every episode, and hit a point of legitimate quality around the time Akira showed up. There was a point in episode 30, when there's a 3-way fight between Schwarz, the other villains, and Right, where I realized ToQger actually had a lot to like about it. The villains are really interesting in that they don't simply exist around the heroes like usual, but have their own plotlines going on. The ToQgers themselves are maybe a bit flat, but they compliment each other as a group nicely, and what personality they do have is really well-conveyed through both the writing and some of the best suit actor body language I've seen outside of Kamen Rider. tl;dr; It's come a long way from this |
^I agree, the show has improved since it's debut and I think it is going to continue to improve. The villains remind me of Hetman with their own stories and feuds; it is nice that they don't just sit around and brood over how to stop the heroes.
