You seem to be overlooking the fact that Attack on Titan was massively popular with Western fans BEFORE it started on Toonami though. The Garo anime isn't receiving anywhere near that level of buzz.

It would be great for Garo to be more popular, but take it from someone who's seen more than one episode - this show is not going to do it.

This. No one is objecting to the potential of Garo being successful in the West (Personally, I think it will do well if it gets to Tooami). What is being objected to is thinking that that it'll be as popular or more popular than Attack on Titan. It won't be.

I doubt it. There is a anime series and OVA called The Heroic Legends of Arslan based off the manga of the same name. So it may be an english dub of the recent anime series. But I can't find any mention of someone or something called Garo. Although it could be possible that it meant he was recording for an english dub for HLoA and a potential Garo: The Animation Dub. I don't know, one can hope so.

As I said in the "What anime are you watching?" thread, I've been working on finish this for the last little while and liking more as I go. It seems more strongly serialized than the live-action, and I think that's built my appreciation.

I guess I'll start in on the second season after I finish this.
