Wrong. Bounty Hunters can bring in their target dead or alive. Something that proves they're not a problem any more.

It might just be easier to "destroy Earth" and sift through the rubble to find whomever it is they have a bounty for.

Again like I mention already the trailer does not say that he looks for anyone its just mentioned that his sole purpose is to destroy the earth end of story. And thats not what a bounty hunter does.

Just flat out getting paid to kill someone is not bounty hunting its an assassination.

Bounty Hunters are required to bring back the body (dead or alive) while an assassin is just required to do the kill and nothing more.

If a bounty hunter is given a task of finding and bringing back someone, dead or alive, he suddenly just doesn't change his position to assassin. It could very well be that the dead or alive option is there, but there could be a higher payout if the bounty is brought back alive, which is usually par for the course.

He might "want to destroy Earth" to make his job easier, he's tired of searching or the most likely one, he doesn't care about collateral damage.

Of course he doesnt and thats the point of this whole thing. Destroying the Earth implies that it isnt there anymore so there is no body to retrieve. Its gone because it was destroyed. And how do you even bring someone a freakin planet? Hows that even supposed to work?

And yes I know that it probably isnt the earth thats the target. Thats why I already mentioned that in this thread...twice. Thats why I said on these occasions already that the in show reason will probably make alot more sense then what we are provided with in the previews.

The Earth can be destroyed without obliterating it to smithereens.

Regardless I was merely pointing out that a bounty hunter can kill their target and still be a bounty hunter. If the narrator had said that the "Intergalactic bounty hunter was sent to destroy Earth" then that's not the definition of a bounty hunter at all. But it says "he" wants to destroy earth which means he's given his task and can apparently go about it the way he sees fit.

I like that we got alot of american made footage in that teaser. Gives me hope that we will get more of that throughout the show.

I'm kinda going to assume that the bounty hunter is gonna get replaced by dino supercharged by the guy who hired him, not taking any more of hi's sheenaningans.
