So, it's offensive now for female characters to have a pink color scheme just because it's considered a stereotype? My god, I'm an insult for my own gender. :rolleyes

Aside from that: In a franchise that broke the stereotype already, it isn't an argument anymore to say "Erhmahgerd, female characters are always pink".

And on a side note, in the "real world", I know plenty of males who do wear pink and look fabulous in it. It's a problem that too many women wear pink, the problem is that not enough men wear pink. And Kamen Rider already made a step in the right direction with Decade.

First of all, Decade is magenta, not pink.
Next, Decade is a man? Since when?

(Aside: The point is that to feature a female rider (Something already rare for the franchise) to be pink is the point. It's not doing any favors)

Magenta and pink are nonetheless in the same range of colors (technically, Marika is also more magenta-ish than pink). They are confused for each other for a reason.

And also: people complained that female riders would always wear pink or white. First of all: They don't, as seen in SanoBaron's post. And second: Even if they're pink, what's the problem? Just because the connotation of the color is feminine, making a female character wear a pink costume doesn't do any harm. What's important is how the character is written and portrayed. So I don't understand why people would be AGAINST a character wearing the color.

Magenta is often considered closer to pink than red.

also, Raia had magenta first, and Decade is clearly brighter than Raia, meaning Decade is not magenta in the first place :P
