I understand they are the first the original but Next Super Hero Taisen Can some one else be the bad guys not shocker

Just finished watching it, and there were a couple of things I liked. Mainly the opening scene, Rider 3, and Yuuto and Deneb returning. Other than that it was bleh. Not awful but nothing special and kinda boring.

Eh, yeah...this was about 30 times better than the Kamen Rider Taisen movie from last year, but 30 times better than worthless garbage is still pretty much, at most, really mediocre. Still, a masterpiece compared to last time.

Sangou was kinda cool though, I...guess?

edit: oh yeah, I do love that they brought back the super tacky Shocker crosses. If there's one thing I learned from watching the original series, it's that Shocker loves tying up people on crosses. (and being nazis, but, well). It is a nice callback.

At this point, Shocker is about as intimidating as a fly and just as annoying.

I understand they're iconic and all but with Kamen Rider having such a long, rich history we got tons of other organizations we can choose from.

Like Foundation X for example...

Or what remnants there are of Smart Brain from 555. Or maybe even a few Phantoms from Wizard.

Thats my main problem with these movies. When Shocker came back the first time it was a freakin big deal. Over the years they have become so overused that they lost all their charme. They tried doing something different last year with the Badan Empire but they just felt like a Shocker reskin.

I honestly think that Foundation X would be the best way to go for a future movie, simply because they already have ties beyond the first series they appeared in. It would make for a much more "epic" crossover.

Foundation X are bland, underdeveloped, and unclear with any kind of motive of methods, yet they're 100 times the villain faction Shocker is.

Shocker's just soooo stupid, I really don't get it. And every movie with them is the same damn thing. They look ridiculous, are no threat whatsoever, and are just boring above it all.

The sad part is how it seemed like they wanted to make Foundation X the modern day Shocker.

I think the story behind this was the producer of Double really wanted this to happen. But Toei had no interest in this which is why they where completely absent in OOO and only returned during Fourze when Doubles producer was back working on Rider.
