I know everyone has said they think the movie is gonna be uber bad and fail like FF4 2015, but I just can't see it. Lionsgate needs a new movie franchise NOW. Hunger games and Divergent have ended/are ending soon. They need something they can continuously do and not just drag out until the inevitable end. And if you want to keep making these movies, they have to be good, so people can enjoy them, recommend it to their friends and go watch it so it can make money.

Yes, they know they need a new franchise, but that doesn't mean it's going to be good. See: Transformers.

There's a difference between being bad and successful and being bad and a failure. If I couldn't have a good PR movie, I'd at least have it be sucessful so a sequel could be the good movie.

Which isnt a given with movies like this. We are still waiting for a good Transformers movie.

I rather have a good film that does well then have a bad movie that gets shitty sequels. I don't want people to view Power Rangers the same as the Transformers films. People view Transformers movies for people that want 99% action and 1% story.
