Yes his figure has something to improve on. By making it an actual, physical figure and not an imaginary one like the original.

It's not actually "the renewal line." People just call most of them renewals because they are also that, and because it's less of a mouthful than the real name. It's the Shinkocchou Seihou line, and that basically just means they're made all fancy like. As was already said, Hibiki was also part of the SS sub-line despite that being his first. Kiva will probably be the same way whenever he gets his turn in 2062 or whatever.

The increased size is nice, and the light up feature is neat, but sound effects and music ruin it for me. I hope when and if they do a shin Godzilla SHMA that there will be a version that lacks electronics, or I might just stick to vinyl figures from here on out.
