Bandai isn't making these to sell at places like Wal-Mart and this forum is a very small percentage of people trust me this and Go-Lion*two of the 3 most iconic giant robos in the States* will make Bandai money here.

And as far as SOCs go 300$ for 5 combining robots isn't outrageous both Voltes V and Gaogaigar released at that price and God Mars,Trider G7 and Daitarn 3 were 220-250 when they came out.

Yes it is. SOC Gunbuster had two mass releases in two different colours (they were years apart but still), what's to say they won't do the same here?

HLJ is a bit cheaper since AmiAmi ramped up the MSRP before applying the discount, again.

If I were able to buy this SoC version, he would be displayed with those two when they are separated and then I would have the other one when they are combined.

I just wish they would show us what type of poses he could be displayed in in the pictures.

It Sentai keep it in mind nothing from Sentai gets a second release.

I just don't think Bandai would want to release a $300 toy for a second time.

And the other robots you talk about are more popular then Sentai and that's why they got another release.

Why would they not want to make it (especially through Premium Bandai) if it
a) Saves them money from re-using the molds
b)Is made to order, so they don't have any copies sitting around
c)appeals to completionists, who would buy it to have it

Daizyujin is popular for its role in Power Rangers so it has a much bigger base to pull from than any of those other SoC releases

Its gonna sell, and you can keep whining all you want, won't change the fact.

Moreover, look at the effort Bandai is putting into marketing this, with the two step reveal of the individual modes months ago and the combined mode at NYCC

it's gonna be an international success because its iconic, and we've never had ANY sentai release with THIS much effort put into it, in design AND marketing

its not just some cheapass "premium" job by a hack company, Bandai has experience. I mean, they have the whole fucking Soul of Chogokin line
