And people are putting way to much praise on this 'Rita was a former ranger' concept. We've had tons of bad rangers with their own Megazords. This is not bold new ground they're breaking. So yeah it's not new.

ROTF Devastator captured the spirit of the original more than this thing. And it had giant dangling testicles for the sake of a rude joke only stupid 12 year old boys would laugh at.

If that's what Goldar is, then I have no faith in this film succeeding.

Then again, I've had no faith in this movie since it was first announced.

I really don't care what Goldar looks like as long as the reason why he looks like this is explained. Which I'm sure will happen, if only visually. I'm also sure he'll look far better on screen because gold colored plastic is always awful.

Well according to this video, rumors/potential spoiler here taken from the Wrap, says Goldar is suppose to be a Bio Weapon in this. Skip to around 1:30 to get to the Goldar stuff.

This literally cost them less than $1 to make and I'm sure that it is going to cost $40 - $50.

Even if you love the design for whatever crazy reason, you have to at least acknowledge that this toy is going to be the absolute worst of inflated price gouging Bandai could have possibly ever done.
