And I know this is just speculation at this point but... what if it's not just Emu? What if the operation influences a person's personality as a side effect, and Emu is some kind of special case in that regard? It'd tie in to Kuroto and Taiga's characters, with Kuroto's madness and Taiga's obsession with the Gashats, though thinking about it I'm not sure how Hiiro and Kiriya fit into that... Ah well, it's just a theory... A GAME THEORY! Thank's for reading! |
Has no one made a "2016 took another life" joke yet? Shame on you all.

Well, Hiiro's also got his revenge obsession, although we'll see how that goes without Graphite. Kiriya had his almost compulsive lying and...
He always seemed to have some form of... I'm not sure guilty conscience is right, but he always seemed to take a very personal responsibility for things. I dunno, it's hard to distinguish between what's natural and what's an unnatural influence when you've primarily seen it with the influence. |

ONORE DIEND!!!! |
Apparently Kiriya was pretty popular in Japan, too, which got Toei Twitter in some oyu earlier today:
"Episode 12 of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid saw the sudden and tragic death of a fan favorite character, Kujo Kiriya, who transforms into Kamen Rider Lazer. In response to the episode, Toei tweeted out a now deleted hashtag message via their Toei News account. The message read “なんできりやすぐ死んでしまうん” or “Why does Kiriya die so soon”, which was a quote from the anime movie Grave of the Fireflies” (Originally “なんで蛍すぐ死んでしまうん” or “Why do fireflies die so soon”) replacing “fireflies” with “Kiriya”." Contextually, this was seen to be in poor taste and the tweet became a top trender before Toei deleted it. Now the important part: "The production team are also very much aware of the love for the character and passed along a message reading: “To those who loved the character, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much.” Shortly after the episode aired, the Toei Fanclub app sent out notifications to viewers that orders are open for the Kamen Rider Lazer memorial T-shirt."* NANI KA?!?! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640...921/YLbKuB.jpg http://www.toei.co.jp/release/mobile/1208810_973.html |
I'd get it if it were an easy purchase. I wonder how many hoops you have to go through to order one from overseas...

So who else feels incredibly sorry for all the poor kids who got Lazer toys for Christmas?
|
I am saddened from this episode. This was both a great, fun episode and a sad episode. I will miss Lazer a lot. Though this showed how powerful Genm is though. I can't wait to see how this goes.

I'm wondering if this means that the figuart will come with swappable lifeless, dead eyes.
That's actually pretty morbid when you think about it lol |
