Loved it. Could have done with a bit more suit action and I won't deny there were a few questionable choices here and there, but all in all it was a solid, enjoyable film. In two hours this cast had tons more character and personality than most of the original did in 100+ episodes.

From what I've read here I'll probably enjoy it if I treat it as a new Power Rangers thing and not an adaption of MMPR.

That's what I'm saying, people I normally don't agree with say it's good, but even some people I do say they liked it. (Though still plenty of bad reviews)

But when someone known to be a blind PR supporter says to disregard any negative reviews, I can't help but roll my eyes.

Well from I've heard it's PR in spirit and tone but the changes make these seem more like guys who just share the names of the original cast so maybe alternate reality is a more app description then.

Basically I mean I'll just try to enjoy it as a Power Rangers product instead of wondering why they didn't just straight do a completely from scratch PR movie if these are already mostly original characters.

The movie was a lot of fun. I like it better than the original show. Sorry, but the original MMPR show is hot garbage when you take off the nostalgia glasses. This movie had better main characters and made Rita feel more evil. I grew up with MMPR too and saw the original movie in theaters. This movie was a lot of fun and the final battle was worth it.

Is it a great movie? No, but the movie is good for what it is. My whole theater clap and yell out "YEAH!!!" when the Mega Zord show up. I say this movie is better than the Transformers movies because at least they don't try to add crude humor that not even a four year old would find funny. I give this movie a 7/10.

...You know, maybe it's just me being weird again, but I'm going to need to see the context of this to determine that. Just because I can't separate this idea from farm work and animal husbandry in my mind.

Eh. It was a quick gag, and honestly pretty harmless.

Loved the movie. Like... way more than I expected to, even. Biggest disappointment for me was that a lot of the mecha action didn't feel... physically impactful enough? Is that the right way to say it? Let's just say it left me wanting more from the Zords, both collectively and apart.

I loved the Rangers as characters though. All of them were likable and had great chemistry IMO.

Just saw the movie. I thought it was actually pretty fantastic for what it is. Not a cinematic masterpiece even by superhero movie standards, but I had a blast watching it. I love the 5 actors they got to play the Rangers.

This is one of the times where I'm glad I'm wrong. I was very skeptical of this movie, but the benefit of that low expectation makes me love the movie. Although I admit, I love the first two acts more than the third, which is weird.
