Yes. They did in fact use an entirely new middle instead of transforming Volfogg. As far as I can tell by my rough translations, they couldn't figure out a way to transform it without making Volfogg bigger.

So how does moderoid compare to super minipla?

I'd say they're pretty comparable, but I lean more towards favoring Moderoid. I only have Moderoid Mazinkaiser to compare, I'm still waiting to get God Mars in hand to see how a combining/partsforming kit fares, but so far I prefer the plastic finish on Kaiser compared to my other Super Minipla.

This was taken during the 2019 Wonder Festival - Summer.

No new info on super sentai super minipla future release (I hoped to see a sunvulcan robot prototype).
Given that those are going to be release in early 2020, I don't expect sun vulcan robot before at least march 2020...
From what I have seen only jetman was on display... Does that mean that sentai super minipla are not selling so well ?

Sorry, I didn't see this message, the link IS a direct link, but the site redirect you. I usually have to accesss the link twice to get a direct access to the page. The problem is that you will still need to use a middleman services to order as bai premium don't accept order from people outside Japan (and the special site is only for US and I am not sure that all is available there)

Also preorders are open for Machine Robo Revenge of Chronos Baikanfu (bandai premium only too)
(funny things, they speak in the blog about varigale X that is a recolor of jaguar vulcan that is also released in super minpla , will they try to release varigale X later too ?)
