They're not. The release order so far has been a coincidence. Keep in mind that Hibiki, who was never released before, was among them.

On another topic: I was originally going to post that aside from Cross-Z and the Build bike, I wasn't all that excited about the initial stuff. (I just can't get excited about Showa Riders.) If what's been posted about Wizard and the Hibiki Rider is true, though... those are must-purchases for me. I love those designs, and Hibiki is a weepingly terrific base from which to make new figures.

Then again, as someone else pointed out, it's Tamashii Nations. The web is littered with terrific stuff they previewed but never released (SRC Gekitouja, the remaining Boukengers, Gaim Suika Arms, the rest of Jetman, the other Mazinger Z accessory pack, etc.) Fingers crossed. I imagine Wizard is a lock, but Ibuki and Todoroki may end up as much a tease as DiEnd.

I was hoping that Faiz would be the next figuart for the SS treatment. The original figure is a mixed bag for most people with the bad paint job on his hands and iffy joints.

Hibiki was done because they wanted to do him, the timing was irrelevant since he never had an old figure to redo.

They obviously followed their old release-schedule up until W. If you exclude Showa then they are still on track actually, and that can't be a coincidence.
