Ok, real fucking talk time. I'm going to explain why I defend him and don't try to bury him like the rest of you self-righteous paladins. And this is probably going to go against site rules, but right now, I'm at a point where I'm tired of it all.

I, myself, am a victim of sexual assault. Rape to be exact. And it wasn't like date rape. It was full on getting beaten and held down. I had a knife to my throat at one point. I was 19 years old when it happened. I had my life destroyed. But I didn't let it destroy me. I didn't cry and whine. I didn't play the role of the victim. Sadly, the one thing I was never able to do was see a face to tell the cops.

So you better damn well believe me when I say that there are far worse things than being aggressively groped. I'm tired of everyone thinking that every kind of sexual crime is the worst damn thing in the world. Especially when all that happened was someone getting groped too hard and had a hand up their skirt. I defend him because I am a victim. Go ahead. Crucify me.

Last I checked Japan is extremely strict with crime, first degree murder is punished with the death penalty iirc so this means he's going to face a LOT of prison time

No matter how drunk he was, at the end of the day he assaulted someone.

As much as we enjoyed his roles we have to face facts. Someone was harmed greatly by this and I feel Aoki will need to face the charges laid against him. There's no way around this; this is a matter of grave moral and safety urgency and it must be dealt with in a manner that ensures people are safe from Aoki acting out like this again.

It would almost be alright if he'd started 4 fights with people while drunk. That's almost normal.

But sexual assaults? Nope, not normal. I've known tons and tons of people that drank and no one ran around assaulting women.
