So they jumped to this form and pretty much killed the hei-seiber and the decade form. And we're not even nearly halfway through.

Why are you surprised? Build did the same thing with RabbitTank Sparkling -> RabbitTank Hazard.

Yeah, this is the basic pattern of Rider shows now. Start with the base form and any sideways power-ups, get the first true upgrade about ten episodes in, get the advanced upgrade about halfway through, and then get the final form at about the 2/3rds mark.

While I do completely understand the criticisms about dropping the Ridewatches' purpose, I absolutely loved this episode due to it's incredibly strong moral. That, and Zi-O II is far too good than it should be. Plot's making some progression too which is good
