Probably a combination of the four shoulder capes, and the fact that a trademarked franchise with an established loyal fanbase can inflate the prices as much as it wants because it inherently has no real competition. nerd franchises aren't like sodas, you can't just go buy Pepsi's Magician and Creature figures for a competitive price.

So it seems Rider exclusive releases going forward are just going to be even more difficult for everyone to get outside of Japan than usual. Not just Build releases now, Beast here is also limited to 2 per customer, which means middlemen are pricing him way up and probably won't be able to get a lot. So get your orders in now while you can, if you can float the higher bill...
