So looking up the kanjis the names feel like they are somehow referring to gems or their characteristics and traits.

Juru as I have previously stated is a pun on 'jewel', but if you break down his name further, it means 'abundance of gems/precious stones'.

The 'I(pronounced like the letter E in this case)' in Tametomo's surname Imizu means to shoot or archery, and reflects his position as the sharpshooter of the team. It also can be found in the Japanese word for Sagittarious, Ite-za. Tametomo is likely a reference to Minamoto no Tametomo, a 12th century samurai who was considered a skilled archer.

The 'Se' in Sena means 'water rapids', reflecting her position as the speedster of the team.

The 'Kiri' in Shigure's surname Oshikiri means to 'cut/slash' reflecting his position as the swordsman of the team.

The 'Haru' in Sayo's surname Oharu means to 'heal'. Sayo's name might also be a reference to the fairy tale The Nightingale, which is called 'Sayo Nakidori' in Japanese, as well as Florence Nightingale, the famous nurse in relations to her job as a doctor.

I love the extravagant poses they strike after transforming, it looks like something out of ballet or figure skating! All the fight footage looks really stylish too, and hopefully the mecha fights will be good too since we have another agile-looking mech. Not really feeling the villain designs, maybe once we see more of them a good aesthetic will emerge but what I saw in the trailer just looked random.

Where's the Mecha toys? Argh.

Also want to point out that KiramePink actress was also Kanon in Kamen Rider Ghost. I didn't realise it earlier was because I pretty almost forgot everything about Ghost's side cast.

So I guess the personalities for the rangers are Juru is a creative artsy type, Tametomo is the cool kid, Sena is sharp and quick-witted, Shigure is the stoic silent type, and Sayo is the kind and caring big sister who got skills. Interesting mix.

Fun fact, aside from playing Crow in GARO, Shigure's actor was also the voice of Al in the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist.

Oh wow, I really like both the OP and the ED. This is probably something only I care about, but it was a really pleasant surprise to see Shouko Fujibayashi is the lyricist for both. I don't think she's written anything for Sentai since Go-Busters*, and that's a shame when every time they use her, we get songs that line up with the themes of the show perfectly.

Like, that opening, right? It's great. Has a classic Sentai sound, and the upbeat, optimistic feel that comes with that. But right away there's a specific reference to something that's obviously going to be a huge part of the series, by likening a sense of hope for your future to the freedom and potential of drawing the first line in a blank sketchbook. You know, that thing our Red this year has? That's wonderful. It's the extra mile you don't always get, even in songs I'm still fond of, like Ryusoulger's theme.

*EDIT: Disregard that bit, I thought wrong! I just went and looked up her credits and it turns out she's actually been doing Sentai songs on a regular basis since then. I have no idea how I was unaware this entire time the ちょーかっこイーグル　pun in Zyuohger's ED was her work. My mind is a little blown right now. :lol
