Well, that’s disappointing. It looks like crap, the weird way the green car connects combined with the huge sword make it look super unbalanced, and the whole design just lacks form and detail. The clear plastic makes it look cheap, too.

Maybe the alternate combinations will look better? There’s a lot of unused hinges and the pink copter has obvious sculpted and painted fists.

I’m initially optimistic, and hoping for a return to cluster truck final modes and/or mini-pla. I like what I’m seeing but it’s just enough off to make me wait until we see more before I make any purchases.
I’m just dazzled by the shinies, I guess.

Is anyone else really bothered by Pink's off-center rotor? That's just wrong.

So I guess when Pikotaro and Mabusheena approached Shiguru to be the blue ranger they must have told him giant boss battles will be a different experience for him.

Shiguru: So I get to fight evil by putting my acting chops in real combat. Nice.

Mabusheena: Just one thing. You are gonna pilot a jet. But it is also a sword. You're insured, right?

Shiguru: Huh?

Meh. it looks kind of ugly to me, which is a shame because I LOVE the mech design. I'm hoping the minipla is nicer.

It’s very annoying and seemingly exists solely for the “gem mode” gimmick.
