It probably just a timing thing. At the time of the Build conference, Cross-Z was shown in the poster but it was never stated that Ryuga would transform into him. At the time of the Zero-One conference, Jin and Horobi were on the poster but they were never addressed.

The Hansel Rider will be the last to debut, based on toy leaks, all the way in November (late enough that they may have just held off on showing them at all). Don't know what the deal with the other two is, though. It seems clear that Kenzan is the green Rider, but the toy leaks say the Genbu Rider should have his toy out first, in September, while Kenzan wouldn't be until October. But it's possible the Genbu Rider is Tetsuo and he'll appear quite early, since the official site says there are mysteries about his past, and thus his being a Rider may just be one of those.

(technically Calibur toys are also all the way out in November, but the villain guys appearing early and having their toys out late is very common)

Haha, damn. Seeing the reactions I feel like Ghost ain't gonna live up to the hype when I finally get around to seeing it.

Regardless, I'm still excited for this show. It'll be awhile before I actually get to watch it, since I prefer to binge everything nowadays, but still, it looks cool and I hope it delivers.

As one who hasn't gotten to Ghost yet, I assume this is a shot-by-shot comparison from Ghost scenes and scenes from the Saber Trailer....which probably scares even the most hopeful of people as Ghost apparently hits more than a few in the worst way possible!

Zero-One didn't really turn out much like Ex-Aid in the end, and some of you are acting like having the head writer who only wrote for like half of Ghost means we're automatically sated for Onari 2 or something even though this is a completely different premise.

So five riders off the bat all ostensibly on the same side, huh. Sentai grows more obsolete with each passing year... Of course, this is Kamen Rider so there's definitely gonna eventually be all kinds of drama involving shifting allegiances, betrayals, rivalries and all that sorta stuff.

Sorry guys, I think Fukuda writing this is all my fault. I've been staring at all the Saber reveals with a nice hearty "okay I guess", so Toei must've decided they needed something that would really pull me in. Mission accomplished!

Saber's design is as unexciting as Build while also being a bit overly complicated, which I think has been keeping me from being excited about motifs I'm actually really into. Fantasy stuff, swords, books, stories, that's all very appealing to me, and seeing that trailer got me a lot more excited.

So more info I gathered about the characters according to Toei

-The riders are part of an organization called Sword Of Logos
- Touma/Saber is a novelist who LOVES books and will not
stop talking about it once he starts(Toei also adds he is a master of literature and swords, which they seem to emphasize now that he is a person who wields both pen and sword)
-Rintaro/Blaze is the Fencer Of Water who has been in Sword Of Logos for a while and while he is usually earnest, he cannot help himself when there is delicious food, especially sweets, and Touma uses this to his advantage
-Kento/Espada is a Fencer Of Lightning and is Touma's childhood buddy, and as much as he is happy to see him, learning that Touma has forgotten something important he is dumbfounded and retaliates as a result
-Ren/Kenzan is a Fencer of Wind who is a talented fencer and believes strength is justice, likes Kento very much for his great swordsmanship, also develops a sense of jealousy towards Touma

-Mei is a novice editor who is in charge of managing Touma, and while she has a very curious side she is mostly interested in whatever is fun and social media
-Sophia is the protector alongside the riders of Sword Of Logos of the book that created the world, and watches over Touma and the others from their HQ called Northern Base
-Tetsuo is the mechanic of Sword Of Logos who takes care of the WonderRide Books, and is a man of mystery who knows about the battle from old times, also highly respected by others

-The villain trio are called Megidos
-Strius is a megido responsible for creating the antithesis of The Great Book called Alter Book, and controls the stories genre
-Regiel is a proud megido who thinks there is none greater than his expertise, the mythical beast genre
-Zuos is a megido of the lifeform genre, and is the intelligent physical type

The Sword of Logos Organization really remind me to Takeshi Organization from Kamen Rider Hibiki
