But honestly, the Sentai threads get a little barren around these parts, so if PR talk keeps the Sentai threads at the top of the stack, I guess I won’t complain.

I agree. I love the preseason rumors and all of the initial visual leaks, but I always prefer to see story-related stuff for the first time within the show itself.

That said, I guess this isn’t much more than what they’ll reveal in the official announcement on Christmas or at the Press Conference in January. Still... having this info spread out over a couple months keeps the excitement levels high.

Honestly design wise I could see hasbro taking a stab at it depending on how the villains and such look. Hasbro wasn't afraid to shoot original footage, I could see them just digitally editing the gears to remove say the numbers. Reshoot scenes where needed so we dont see some close up of a MMPR gear with 16 on it. Or a gear without a team we've seen before (unless hasbro wants to give us brief snippets about them)

I feel they could think something up but we still need to know what the villains look like. What if they pull some sort of - VR troopers like virtual world where we have civilian scenes in the human world but the rangers become 'robots's when they enter the virutal world.

Sigh...and here I thought I would be able to hold myself back from buying the toys for this season...it's not looking good so far :lol

Really excited for the show. I love how different it seems!

From the images, ZyuohEagle is shown as 40, LupinRed is shown as 42 and KiramaiRed as 44, so we can deduce that if there's a PatRanger key at all, it will also have 42 as its number. I suspect there will be, as that's one more gear for Bandai to sell.

Honestly, and I guess this has more to do with Kamen Rider, but I'm kind of glad Shirakura told us we weren't supposed to know about Trinity specifically because there have been so many occasions where a suit or whatever in some catalogue will look kinda lame only to turn out to be awesome as an actual suit in more flattering images. Zi-O II and Dangerous Zombie come to mind for me. There are years where I eagerly keep up with rumors, and years where I don't, and while both are fun in their own way, there's definitely something to be said for just patiently waiting for nice publicity stills and trailers to show up, because that stuff tends to naturally present a show in the best light.

...That being said, everything I just saw here is so cool and has me crazy excited for this show now! I'm glad the robot members of the team are still going to be transforming, especially. (I do kinda agree with Kiwami that the gun looks weird, but please refer to the previous paragraph to understand why I'm not worried about that.)

I really like how the mechs are looking so far. Huge improvement from kiramager in terms of play value and complexity. Going to reserve any thoughts on the show until it airs. Don't see why people are so quick to dismiss it. I get that it's looking to be a pretty significant departure from the usual sentai formula but I can appreciate that they're trying out new things.
